对于诸如此类的欢愉，应当随心所欲地追求。如此这般，当一切愿望都得到满足时，心（梵文：citta，意为‘心’）便会显现为等持（梵文：samāhita，意为‘专注’）之心的形象。在三界（梵文：trayo dhātavaḥ，意为‘欲界、色界、无色界’）之中，‘又’这个词表明，通过掌握瑜伽（梵文：yoga，意为‘结合’），修行者也能掌控虚空界（梵文：ākāśadhātu，意为‘空间元素’）。 接下来，‘收摄它’的意思是，‘它’指的是心。‘又’这个词表明，这是相对于广大而言。‘收摄’指的是调伏。至于要收摄到什么程度呢？因此，经中说‘安住于鼻尖’，意为可以随自己的意愿收摄到一肘、两肘或三肘的长度，并且应当一直收摄到到达鼻尖为止。 萨瓦芒嘎朗（藏文：སརྦ་མངྒལཾ།，梵文：sarva maṅgalaṃ，梵文罗马拟音：sarva manggalam，一切吉祥）！ （空白页） 目录： 《摄略经释》的笔记记录在此。

One should indulge in pleasures such as these as much as one desires. In this way, when all desires are fulfilled, the mind (citta) appears as the image of a mind in samāhita (equanimity). In the three realms (trayo dhātavaḥ), the word 'also' indicates that by gaining mastery over yoga, one can also have power over the realms of space (ākāśadhātu). Next, 'to gather it' means that 'it' refers to the mind. The word 'also' indicates that it is relative to vastness. 'To gather' means to subdue. As for how far to gather it, therefore, it is said, 'Abide at the tip of the nose,' meaning that one can desire to gather it to the length of one cubit, two cubits, or three cubits, and one should gather it until it reaches the tip of the nose.
