Then, reciting 'Hum Phat Phet' (藏文：ཧཱུཾ་ཕུཿཕཊ།) seven times, invite all the deities (that have been summoned) into the kapala bowl, and perform the hooking and abiding ritual as before. After that, offer to all the nagas in the mandala and in the kapala bowl, including the five sensual objects, desired objects, vase water, banners, etc., by reciting 'Om Nam' (藏文：ཨོཾ་ནཾ་) extensively to bless these offerings, and offer them by reciting mantras such as 'Om Ah Naga Ati Pati Sapariwara Argham Pratichchha Hum Svaha' (藏文：ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿནཱ་ག་ཨ་ཏི་པ་ཏི་ས་པ་རི་ཝཱ་ཨརྒྷཾ་པྲ་ཏཱི་ཙྪ་ཧཱུཾ་སྭཱཧཱ།). Then, tie the kapala bowl with a thread, place it on a platform in the middle of the pond that is slightly above the water, and begin reciting the mantra: Visualize that the Lord Buddha commands the nagas to be pleased with me and to send down heavy rain. Recite: 'Namaḥ Samanta Buddhānāṃ Namo Mahā Balāya Ucchuṣma Mahā Krodha Rājāya Sarva Nāgānāṃ Hṛdayāya Traṭa Ya Hūṃ Phuḥ Phaṭ Oṃ Śūla Māṇi Varṣāya Śrīghraṃ Oṃ Jyotini Jñāda Varṣāya Śrīghraṃ' (藏文：ནམཿ། ས་མནྟ་བུདྡྷེ་བྷྱོ་ན་མོ་མཧཱ་བ་ལ་ཡ་ཨུཙྪུཥྨ་མ་ཧཱ་ཀྲོ་དྷ་རཱ་ཛཱ་ཡ། སརྦ་ནཱ་ག་ནཾ། ཧྲི་ད་ཡཱ་ཏྲ་ཊ་ཡ། ཧཱུཾ་ཕུཿཕཊ། ཨོཾ་ཤཱུ་ལ་མཱ་ཎི་བཪྵ་ཡ་ཤྲཱི་གྷྲཾ། ཨོཾ་ཛྱོ་ཏི་ནི་ཛྙཱ་ད་པཪྵ་ཡ་ཤྲཱི་གྷྲཾ་), and add words of supplication. If you recite without being mixed with drowsiness, etc., it will definitely rain, because the words of Vajradhara (藏文：རྡོ་རྗེ་འཆང་) are not false. The key to this practice is to view all dharmas as interdependent illusions, cultivate bodhicitta as much as possible, and have unwavering faith in the words of Vajradhara. In the summer of the Sheep year when rain was scarce, Je Rinpoche (藏文：རྗེ་རིན་པོ་ཆེས་) gave this instruction, and as a result, heavy rain fell continuously, and the grains, grasses, flowers, and medicines on the earth grew especially luxuriantly. After the rain had fallen sufficiently, the nagas were offered to as before, and then sent back to their respective abodes. May there be auspiciousness!
