With joy, please tell the excellent teachings. O Protector, perfect Buddha, so that I may become the holder of the secret teachings, until I attain enlightenment, I will firmly hold this in my mind. In order to eliminate all defilements, in order to abandon all ignorance, I will explain the differences in the minds of sentient beings as they are. The Lord of Secrets, Vajrapani, thus addressed the Tathagata, respectfully joining his palms, bowing before the Buddha. Then, the Blessed One, Shakyamuni, the perfect Buddha, the best of bipeds, extended his beautiful tongue from his mouth, long and wide, illuminating the three realms, subduing the enemies of the four maras, showing a smile that purifies the three lower realms of sentient beings, with a Brahma-like melodious voice, filling the entire three realms, again to the mighty Vajrapani, spoke the secret. You have great compassion, for the benefit of beings, reciting the name of the wisdom-body Manjushri has great significance, it can purify sins and eliminate evil. You diligently listen from me, well done, glorious Vajradhara! Vajrapani, you are very good! Lord of Secrets, therefore I will explain it to you in detail. You must listen with one-pointed mind.
