It can be healed by (medicine). The condition of channels and orifices is of two kinds, internal and external. The internal orifices are the three of life, essence, and impurity, and the thirteen substances such as water and food reside. The external orifices are seven on the head and two in the secret place, with the addition of the uterus and two breasts for women. The shapes are round, large, small, long, connected, and separated. They are distributed like the veins on the back of a leaf. The gateway for the increase of essence is the orifice. Due to inconsistent diet and behavior, the channels of the orifices are damaged, thus causing disease. It causes excessive production, blockage, other movements, and disturbances. Undamaged and clean orifices will become comfortable. Thus it is said.
