Thus it is. Being able to purify all afflictions into Dharmata, therefore it is harmless; with the skillful means of great compassion, it can be transformed into a companion on the path; with the profound meaning of the generation and completion stages of secret mantra, the yogi takes afflictions as the path. Jikme Lingpa said: In the Samadhi like the sky, it exists in the realm of fresh awareness. Thus it is. The three kinds of mindfulness refer to the two, self-luminous and unobstructed mindfulnesses of Trekchö and Tögal. They are: the mindfulness of the ground-state, self-arisen Trekchö; and the mindfulness of the appearance, nakedly grasping Tögal. Although six kinds of mindfulness are mentioned in the Treasury of Pith Instructions, they are all included in these three. In the Treasury of the Supreme Vehicle, it says: The eight consciousness aggregates are: the Alaya-consciousness, which is the non-conceptual pure consciousness that does not conceptualize objects but is the cause for the appearance of phenomena. The five sense consciousnesses that arise from it are: eye consciousness, which apprehends form without conceptualization; ear consciousness, which apprehends sound without conceptualization; nose consciousness, which apprehends smell without conceptualization; tongue consciousness, which apprehends taste without conceptualization; body consciousness, which apprehends touch without conceptualization. From these arise the two mind consciousnesses of grasper and grasped, namely, the mind consciousness that first apprehends the general object, and then the afflicted mind that apprehends the particular, which are the grasped and the grasper. These two mind consciousnesses have three aspects: virtuous, non-virtuous, and neutral, and they can be conceptual or non-conceptual as appropriate. The five sense consciousnesses and the Alaya-consciousness are non-conceptual. Thus it is. Without relying on direct perception as a sign, inference cannot arise. Thus it is. Having complete devotion and an undistracted body, and renunciation, these are the pillars of meditation. Having complete head and feet of meditation, the desired result will be achieved. Everything is like being just born, which means that the conceptualization of mixing sound and meaning does not arise. The wrong paths of being born in the three realms must be liberated into the space of the three Kayas. Zhabdrungpa said: It is necessary for ordinary consciousness to naturally cease. Mahamudra says: Abiding and moving are the lifeline of awareness. Dzogchen says: Projecting and abiding are the lifeline of mindfulness. Projecting has two aspects: delusion and liberation, and abiding has two aspects: purity and impurity. The so-called "Trekchö" awareness radiance refers to consciousness, and the Tögal awareness radiance refers to the garland of bindus. Tertön Bonpo Drag.

It is said that the four Dzogchen gurus spoken by Tsal are: Garab Dorje, Shri Singha, Jnanasutra, and Manjushrimitra. This is said to be the fourth of their histories. Then, during Rushen practice, sometimes the karmic ripening of actions accumulated through hatred by oneself, and the karmic ripening of actions accumulated through hatred by all sentient beings, ripen upon oneself. Taking upon oneself the suffering of hell, all sounds become weeping and wailing, all feelings become suffering. Finally, by placing it in the state of the empty awareness Dharmakaya, all places of delusion and delusory appearances are purified in their own place. Transfer the merit to all pretas and others. Sometimes, recognizing all sentient beings as parents, allow compassion to arise in one's own being, and finally rest in the state of empty awareness. Treat enemies, friends, and neutrals in the same way. Sometimes, determine the outer and inner world as body and wisdom. Release the ordinary clinging thoughts into space. Sometimes, purify the self of the individual and self-grasping. Sometimes, purify the self of phenomena and self-grasping. He said that if one does not gain ground on awareness at any time, running, jumping, and making noise is meaningless.
