In the center of the lotus stamen, the full autumn moon, from the red (藏文：ཧྲཱིཾ，梵文天城体：ह्रीः，梵文罗马拟音：hrīḥ，汉语字面意思：Great Compassion) syllable arises the smiling face of the glorious goddess. With two hands holding wish-fulfilling jewels, illuminating all directions, goddess of beautiful sound, may you prevail! Here, for my root guru, who embraces all sentient beings without discrimination, unparalleled among all learned and virtuous ones, whose glory of realization of scripture and reason is greatly expanded, appearing like a golden Mount Meru. Whose perfectly purified mind-mirror clearly reflects the entirety of knowable objects, the unequaled spiritual friend of the supreme vehicle, to the immaculate lotus feet of the guru Paljor Gyatso, I bow and offer these words of supplication. From the snow mountain of Paljor Gyatso, the stream of excellent explanations flows forth, gathering into the great ocean of the three trainings (discipline, concentration, and wisdom), I prostrate to the lotus feet of Paljor Gyatso. From the glory of the white clouds of compassion, like clouds raining down the Dharma, filling the entirety of the ocean of the Buddha's teachings, I prostrate to the lotus feet of the undefeated guru. Whose immaculate wisdom is like crystal, illuminating the sky of phenomena and knowledge, opening the lotus of the ocean of phenomena, I prostrate to the lotus feet of the unequaled guru. With a thousand eyes of well-spoken wisdom, wearing a long necklace of hundreds of thousands of learned treatises, destroying the hosts of evil-speaking Asuras, I prostrate to the lotus feet of the one with the eye of Dharma. I prostrate to the lotus feet of the incomparable Dharma Lord. You possess endless glory and wealth of self-benefit, And through giving the benefit of others to the beings of the three realms, You dry up the great ocean of samsara. I prostrate to the lotus feet of the ocean of wealth. Upon the flourishing tree of bodhichitta, The stainless flowers of wisdom bloom beautifully, And you completely ripen the fruits of the four kayas. I supplicate to the feet of the ocean of wealth. The steps of the four empowerments are manifestly supreme, Made from the precious wealth of the four kayas, Abiding in the center of the two stages of the ocean of tantras. I supplicate to the feet of the ocean of wealth. There is no tree of benefit and happiness for beings, That has not been created by the waters of your altruistic intention. You possess a great ocean of vast wisdom. I supplicate to the feet of the ocean of wealth. However many hundreds of thousands of scholars may gather, In the garden of the sky of knowledge, They cannot withstand the splendor of your glorious sun. I supplicate to the feet of the ocean of wealth. Through the power of such praise and extreme extolment, May limitless beings attain supreme enlightenment, And may the supreme wheel of the Dharma of scripture and realization, Turn completely without exception. Through the kindness of the glorious lama, I am not confused about even a small part of knowledge, May the supreme bodhichitta, which carries the great burden of all beings, Be attained by all beings. In all my lives, May I be cherished and held dear by the body, speech, and mind of the venerable lama, And may all the wisdom of realization, as it is and as many as there are, Arise in the minds of myself and other beings. This praise, called 'The Excellent Snow Mountain,' was composed by Sonam Zangpo, a wandering monk who dwells in the practice of the Great Vehicle, having tasted the nectar of the speech of the incomparable and holy lama for a long time, having gained some light of wisdom on the coarse places of knowledge, and thus having found unwavering faith in those holy ones, at the victorious monastic college of Pukuto, a sacred place of many past scholars. May this bring great benefit to the teachings and sentient beings! May it be virtuous! Shubham. May you, the source of all benefit and happiness for beings, The virtuous friend, for the sake of the Buddha's teachings enduring, Live long, with stable feet, without adverse conditions or harm, May the melodious sound of the Great Vehicle be proclaimed without end!
