Collection of Teachings by Trachen Losal Gyamtso TSR46 'The Ambrosia of Accomplishments: A Ceremony for Offering to the Glorious Lama' 'The Ambrosia of Accomplishments: A Ceremony for Offering to the Glorious Lama' 'The Ambrosia of Accomplishments: A Ceremony for Offering to the Glorious Lama'. Svasti! I prostrate to the glorious Lama, inseparable from the Protector. Please hold us with great love and bless us. From this time until the essence of enlightenment, I and all beings as vast as space, take refuge in the venerable Lama, the embodiment of the Three Jewels. Please bless me and the lineage. For the sake of sentient beings as vast as the sky, in order to attain the state of glorious Heruka, I will practice the profound essence of the secret, the profound path of Lama's Yoga. In the state of naturally pure emptiness and luminosity, on the basis surrounded by the terrifying protective wheel, in the center of the great palace of the pure realm, on the lion throne, lotus, sun, and demon seat, the essence of the Three Jewels, the lord of the mandala wheel, the guide who possesses the three kindnesses, Heruka, is the very embodiment of the chief protector, Mahakala. My kind root Lama, whose body is like a play of rain clouds in summer, blazing with the light of a billion suns, gives bliss to the heart upon remembrance, and is victorious in the battle against demons and rakshasas. One face, two arms, a short and stout form, holding a curved knife, a skull cup, and a khatvanga. Wearing black silk, a tiger skin loincloth, and bone ornaments. In the midst of blazing wisdom flames, he gazes upon me with loving compassion. The three places are marked with the three vajras, represented by syllables. From the HUM at his heart, rays of light emanate, illuminating the limitless realms of the ten directions, all the root and lineage Lamas, the deities of the mandala, the dakinis of the three places, and the ocean of oath-bound protectors, gathering like clouds and dissolving into the venerable Lama. Thus, the Lama who is the embodiment of all refuges, the unequaled Vajradhara, we and all beings rely on you from the heart until enlightenment. Body, life, possessions, and the accumulation of merit from the three times, transformed into a vast ocean of outer, inner, and secret offering clouds, are offered to please you, Protector. Please accept them with loving compassion. All the sins and downfalls accumulated in beginningless samsara, especially the vows broken to the Lama and the Three Jewels. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Vajradhara(རྡོ་རྗེ་འཆང་དབང་,Vajradhara,The Holder of the Vajra) Himself! Performing the benefit of beings in an ordinary manner, The vast activities of body, speech, and mind, I confess the faults of looking with inferior and wrong views. Through whose kindness, great innate bliss arises, The feast of joy that dawns in an instant, My heart's lotus opens its face, I pray at the feet of the unexcelled kindness. Samantabhadra, the primordial protector, Vajradhara, The great bliss, seven-limbed Heruka(ཧེ་རུ་ཀ,Heruka,Wrathful deity), The kind guru who shows the great secret path of goodness, I pray at the feet of the wisdom that has no equal. Seeing whose body stops ordinary thoughts, Hearing whose speech gives great bliss to the heart, Remembering whose mind protects from the fears of samsara and nirvana, Associating with whom is meaningful, I pray to you. From this time forth, in all lifetimes, Whatever सुख दुःख (happiness and suffering), good or bad, high or low may occur, There is no other refuge than you, Protect me with great compassion, never separating. May all appearances be known as the body of the guru's vessel and essence, May all sounds dawn as the empty vajra speech, May mind itself, the dharmakaya, great bliss, be one with your mind, May I always follow you without separation. Even temporarily, may life and merit, Glory and enjoyment, power, retinue, etc., Increase like the waxing moon, May I always worship the glorious guru.
