For sentient beings, relying on this Dharma can pacify all suffering and its causes. Therefore, this sacred Dharma is the root of all goodness in the world and should be regarded as the second auspiciousness. Because it is proclaimed by the Buddha, it must be spoken immediately after. Because there is nothing more supreme than this, the third and so on should not be mentioned later. The pure Sangha, etc., are the third jewel. Those who have realized such Dharma are noble ones. The gathering of noble ones is the Sangha. Therefore, "Sangha" means "gathering." Another explanation is that "Sam" means good or virtuous. Just as virtuous people gather, it is virtuous, that is, practicing the virtue of liberation, hence it is Sangha. The pure ones are the noble ones. Those who possess the truth of the Dharma path in their hearts and hear the teachings of the Tathagata are rich in supreme auspiciousness. Auspiciousness means wealth and treasures. Taking humans as an example, those who walk on the earth, such as humans or non-humans, yakshas, kumbhandas, rakshasas, etc. Devas are the six devas of the desire realm, as well as the devas of the form and formless realms. Taking devas as an example, gandharvas and yakshas, devas, asuras, etc., who walk in the sky. Asuras refer to good lines, etc., and taking them as an example, pretas and nagas, etc., all those who walk underground. Thus, the place of offering of the three realms, those who deserve to be offered to, are the assembly of noble ones. Because they have abandoned afflictions, even if they offer a little, they can obtain immeasurable results, and indicate the path of liberation. Heretics and their teachers, because they do not understand the path of liberation and have attachment, etc., are not worthy of special offerings. Among all the gatherings in this world, the most supreme, the best, the most excellent, and the most abundant are those who realize the truth, know the shame of their own nature, understand that they will fall into evil paths, and in order to make worldly and transmundane happiness grow continuously, are the basis of their own merits and the place where the glory of the noble ones resides.

May it pacify demons and harms, and may disputes and epidemics, etc., cease to exist. May the wealth of the donors increase, and may beings enter the cause of heaven and liberation. May faith arise through miracles, conduct, and the teaching of the Dharma, and may even seeing and hearing be connected with the supreme meaning. Moreover, it is the basis of glory for all beings. Therefore, the noble Hearers who have entered the stream and abide in the fruit, those who return once and abide in the fruit, those who do not return and abide in the fruit, and those who are Arhats who have entered and abide in the fruit—these eight types of individuals—as well as the solitary Buddhas and the Bodhisattvas, the noble non-returners, and those who follow in accordance with faith, who also do not return. These are called the noble Sangha. The ultimate, true Sangha is the Tathagata himself, and the ultimate Dharma is the Dharmakaya. However, for the time being, here it is established as the Three Jewels. This noble Sangha of the Three Vehicles is the auspicious, rare, wonderful, and unsurpassed third among those from whom all goodness arises in the world, for the Dharma is the second auspicious one, since it arises from the practice of the holy Dharma. Having become the basis of all happiness, may the supreme bliss of the Three Jewels bestow all happiness and auspiciousness. It was composed with a mind of happiness and benefit. This explanation of glory and auspiciousness was also composed by Taranatha, or by another name, Kunga Nyingpo, in the second place held by Palde Jung. Checked and finalized. Auspicious! Explanation of Auspiciousness.
