The Sadhana of Manjushri Kumara The Sadhana of Manjushri Kumara Om Swasti. All the wisdom of the boundless Victors, Collected in the form of Manjushri Kumara. To him I prostrate and pray, And write the method of his practice. Here, the Sadhana of Manjushri Arapacana, red-yellow, of the Sakya tradition, which has a great blessing of empowerment, begins with taking refuge and generating bodhicitta. Within the tent of light from one's own heart, facing upwards, on a lotus and moon seat, from the red-yellow (dhīḥ, dhīḥ, dhīḥ, wisdom) radiates light, purifying the impurities of one's own ignorance, emitting from the pores of the skin, offering to the Noble Ones, accomplishing the benefit of all beings, and then re-collecting and dissolving, from which one becomes the Noble Manjushri Kumara, the color of his body like molten gold, with the radiance of saffron youth, radiating a web of light, peaceful and smiling, with grace, one face and two arms. The right hand holds the blue sword of wisdom, brandishing it directly in front of the shoulder. The left hand holds the root of a blue utpala flower at the heart, and blooming open near the ear, on top of which is a book containing all the scriptures, adorned with silk and jewel ornaments, seated in the vajra posture, with five locks of hair on the crown of the head, adorned with the Lord of the Family, Akshobhya, with a backdrop of moonlight. To condense, that is enough, but to elaborate, on the forehead, from (oṃ, oṃ, oṃ, Om) appears white Manjushri, in the throat, from (āḥ, āḥ, āḥ, Ah) appears red Manjushri, in the heart, from (hūṃ, hūṃ, hūṃ, Hum) appears blue Manjushri. On the moon above his heart, from (dhīḥ, dhīḥ, dhīḥ, wisdom) radiates light, the wisdom of all the Buddhas of the ten directions enters oneself. The mantra surrounds the end of (dhīḥ, dhīḥ, dhīḥ, wisdom), and at the root of the tongue, visualize the letter (dhīḥ, dhīḥ, dhīḥ, wisdom) with its head facing down, and recite "Om Arapacana (dhīḥ, dhīḥ, dhīḥ, wisdom)" as much as possible, and recite "Namo Manjushriye, Kumarabhutaya, Bodhisattvaya, Mahasattvaya, Mahakarunikaya, Tadyatha, Om Arajé, Virajé, Shuddhé, Vishuddhé, Shodhaya, Vishodhaya, Amalé, Vimalé, Nirmalé, Jaya Varé, Ruru Chalé, Hum Hum Hum Phat Phat Phat Svaha." Thus, recite the dharani of increasing wisdom as much as possible, and at the time of ending the session, recite (dhīḥ, dhīḥ, dhīḥ, wisdom) one hundred and eight times in one breath, so that the body becomes one letter (dhīḥ, dhīḥ, dhīḥ, wisdom).

Again, think, even during the session breaks, diligently engage in purification and offerings while maintaining the pride of the deity. The subsequent permission for this is: Arrange offerings with a mandala cluster, and whatever offerings are available, along with two white tormas. Perform the self-generation as before. Bless it as with common offerings. Purify the front generation. From "On the lotus and moon" to "blessing the three places" as in the self-generation. Invite the wisdom being. Elaborately bestow empowerment. Offer with verses and mantras such as "Offerings, ablutions, etc." Furthermore, like "The one who holds the body of a youth," etc., "Possessing the mandala of the wise prince, Saffron-colored, adorned with a web of light, Holding a blazing sword and scripture in your hands, To you, the guru of the gods, I pay homage!" "The sharp vajra, the six-syllable mantra, Revealed as the eighty-four thousand doors of Dharma, With the supreme, incomparable speech, the ocean of vidya-mantras, Causing ignorance to subside, I bow to that one!" "Whose mind is pure like the expanse of the sky, With a constant stream of compassion's rain, Washing away the stains of the two obscurations of all beings, Lord of compassion, I bow to you, Manjushri!" "In this life and in all lifetimes, Protector Manjushri, may I never be separated from you, May you accomplish the vast and profound benefit For myself and all beings without exception!" Recite thus, or if you know and are willing, praise with many rare Tibetan and Chinese praises. Bless the first torma with the three syllables (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: ओṃ āḥ hūṃ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ āḥ hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om Ah Hum), and offer it to the venerable Manjushri. Divide the second torma into three parts like the inner offering and give it to the ten directional protectors. Although this worldly transcendent torma is not explained in the old texts, it is a practice of later times. Do as much recitation of the front generation as possible. This is the order of the actions of the Acharya. The nature of the subsequent permission is: It is mostly similar to the agreements of the hundred sadhana methods. However, if the differences and order are explained, then the students bathe. Offer hand gestures and a mandala. Pray with two verses such as "Omniscient Yeshe Phungpo," etc. Do the regular confession. Generate the student as the deity, dissolve the wisdom being. At the time of the recitation transmission, in the hearts of both the teacher and the student, at the center of the four-spoked wheel of wisdom, there is (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Devanagari: ओṃ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om) (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: ā, Romanized Sanskrit: ā, Literal Chinese meaning: A) (Tibetan: དྷཱིཿ, Devanagari: dhīḥ, Romanized Sanskrit: dhīḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Dhih), and on the four spokes are the syllables (Tibetan: ར, Devanagari: r, Romanized Sanskrit: ra, Literal Chinese meaning: Ra) (Tibetan: པ, Devanagari: pa, Romanized Sanskrit: pa, Literal Chinese meaning: Pa) (Tibetan: ཙ, Devanagari: ca, Romanized Sanskrit: ca, Literal Chinese meaning: Ca) (Tibetan: ན, Devanagari: na, Romanized Sanskrit: na, Literal Chinese meaning: Na).
