The Sadhana of the Bhagavan Medicine Buddha. The Sadhana of the Bhagavan Medicine Buddha. Oṃ Svasti! Having bowed to the Victorious One, the Lord of Medicine, this is his sadhana. According to the instructions of Atisha, I will write a brief and clear summary. First, proceed with refuge and bodhicitta. In your own heart, from the letter 'A' arises a moon, and from the emanation of blue light of Oṃ (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思), you instantly become the Bhagavan Medicine Guru, King of Lapis Lazuli Light, with a body of blue color, possessing the characteristics of a fully ordained monk. The right hand is in the mudra of supreme generosity, holding an arura fruit in its palm. The left hand rests in meditative equipoise, holding a lapis lazuli bowl filled with nectar. He is adorned with three red dharma robes, and sits in the vajra posture on a lotus and moon seat, possessing a form complete with all the marks and signs. In his heart is a moon with a blue Oṃ (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思). From it, rays of light emanate like hooks and lassos. Wisdom beings, Vajrasamājaḥ. Jaḥ Hūṃ Baṃ Hoḥ. To the right, from the letter 'A' arises a bodhisattva, appearing white like the moon. To the left, from the letter 'Maṃ' arises a sun-like appearance of red-yellow color. Both have their palms joined and are adorned with all ornaments. On your own crown is Oṃ (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思). At the throat is Āḥ (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思). At the heart is Hūṃ (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思). Namo Bhagavate, Bhaiṣajye Guru Vaiḍūrya, Prabhārājāya, Tathāgatāya, Arhate Samyaksaṃbuddhāya, Tadyathā, Oṃ Bhaiṣajye Bhaiṣajye, Mahā Bhaiṣajye, Samudgate Svāhā. And, There is also a tradition of reciting only from Oṃ onwards. Reciting it a hundred thousand times accomplishes the approach. At the end, visualize the wisdom beings residing in front of you, and perform the seven-limbed practice from the Bhadracarya Prayer. Make requests for your desires and dedicate the merit. The hundred-syllable mantra and farewell are done in accordance with the common practice. The method for giving this initiation is as follows: On a single mandala, arrange seven torma offerings in order. Arrange extensive offerings. The blessing can be done according to the sutra ritual, but it is also fine to do it in accordance with the common practice. Having first sent forth the self-generation as before, in the center of the palace arising from the mandala Bhrūṃ (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思), all the tormas become individual lotus and moon seats. From your own heart, rays of light emanate. The seven Sugatas together with their retinues, Vajrasamājaḥ. Recite once, "May all sentient beings without exception..." Padma kamalāya staṃ seven times. In the center is the Bhagavan Medicine Guru... adorned. On the three seats to the right, in order, are the Tathagatas.

After the ritual is completed, except for the subsequent actions, recite as much as possible. The disciple's actions are to bathe, offer a mandala, and request the guru Vajradhara and all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions to consider me. I am named so-and-so, from this time until the essence of enlightenment, I seek the Bhagavan Medicine Guru Bhaisajyaraja as my yidam. Please grant me permission from the teacher. Three times. The Seven Limbs of the Good Conduct Prayer three times. Or extensively take refuge and generate bodhicitta, or recite "Buddha, Dharma, Sangha" three times. Then say this: On the crown of your heads, who remain in an ordinary state, from the Bhagavan Medicine Guru to the adorned. On the crown is the wish-fulfilling jewel of the guru's essence, the King of Freedom, and on his crown is the Manifest Knowledge King, body red, etc., one clearly visualizes one on top of the other in order. Generate sincere faith and love for them. Thus, the Tathagata Excellent Name dissolves into light and merges into the body of Precious Moon. Similarly, connect them in order, the Manifest Knowledge King dissolves into light and merges into the Medicine King. From his body emanates immeasurable light, filling everything from the crown of the head to the soles of the feet. Purify all diseases, evil spirits, and defilements. Visualize the body as if it were a очищенный crystal bead. Again, on the crown of the Medicine King is the Manifest Knowledge King.
