The Instruction on the Five Perfections. The Instruction on the Five Perfections. Herein dwells the instruction called "The Instruction on the Five Perfections." Namo Guru. Here, the one who holds the conduct of the victorious ones and great bodhisattvas, the Jewel Light Banner, is the meaning of the vajra words spoken by the venerable Shakya Chokden, the order of practice is as follows: First, take any of the seven types of individual liberation vows, and take the mind of enlightenment well. Receive the four complete empowerments of any mandala of unsurpassed yoga. Protect the vows and commitments like your own eyes. Then, the order of practice is divided into four: the common instruction that emphasizes skillful means, the uncommon instruction that combines skillful means and wisdom, the instruction that removes obstacles and hindrances, and the instruction that greatly expands the two accumulations. The first is: Visualize the assembly of lamas, yidams, buddhas, bodhisattvas, and noble ones in front of you. Take refuge three times. From this time until the end of my life, even if I repent of all sins, I will diligently strive for virtue through body, speech, and mind. Thus, take the vows of the Lesser Vehicle and the common vows three times. Just as the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the past generated the mind of enlightenment, so too will I generate the mind and practice the conduct of enlightenment. Thus, generate the uncommon mind of enlightenment of the Great Vehicle three times. Bodhi Vajra Buddha, etc., thus pray three times. All the Buddhas arise from the secret three places, worshiped by all three realms, bestow the great vajra empowerment. Thus, empower with the water of the vase. Focus the mind on the clear and empty body of the deity. This is the vase empowerment. Place the sound of the Bodhicitta mantra in the mouth. Say Om Ah Hum (藏文,梵文天城体,ओ३म् आः हूँ,oṃ āḥ hūṃ,嗡啊吽). Focus the mind on the empty sound of speech. This is the secret empowerment. They dissolve into light and merge into oneself. One's body is filled with bliss. Rest in equanimity in the clear emptiness of the mind. This is the wisdom empowerment. Meditate for a while in a state free from the four extremes of elaboration. This is the fourth empowerment. This is the method of restoring the uncommon vows of mantra. Then, I and all sentient beings have no certainty when we will die. For death

At the time of death, it is left behind. Moreover, this realm of the world is also impermanent and unstable, being of a nature without essence, so through impermanence, generate renunciation from samsara. Meditate on this repeatedly. At the end of each session, dedicate the merit to bodhi. Like this, three sessions during the day and three sessions during the night, meditate in six sessions in total. Taking refuge as the preliminary, taking the three vows is the common preliminary, and dedicating the merit is the conclusion, these two are the same for everything. Thus, that is one cycle of contemplation. Then, all of samsara is of the nature of suffering, in the three lower realms, the suffering felt is unbearable, the happiness of the higher realms is unstable and will perish, and there is immeasurable suffering of body and mind that is continuous. Thinking that one must escape from this wheel of samsara turned by the three, karma, affliction, and suffering, generate strong renunciation towards all of samsara through the door of suffering, this is the second cycle of contemplation. Meditating that this body is impure and without essence is the third cycle of contemplation. The term "I," because it does not exist in the outer environment, the inner body, or anywhere in between, therefore, I am not established anywhere. Meditating like this is the fourth cycle of contemplation. Sentient beings who have been my parents, experiencing various sufferings in samsara, how pitiful. If only they could be happy and at ease, this is the contemplation of loving-kindness and compassion, the fifth cycle of contemplation. In order for these sentient beings to attain the supreme bodhi, may I quickly attain buddhahood. Meditating on this repeatedly is the sixth cycle of contemplation. These are the instructions for the preliminaries. Secondly, the body is arranged in the seven-point posture of Vairochana, the mind is in a state of being free from all conceptual elaborations, and when looking with the great awareness of inward reflection, from the beginning, the ground is free from all grasping at entities and does not abandon the clear dharma, cultivating the recognition of one's own face in the unchanging realm is meditating on emptiness, also called the yoga wisdom of self-awareness, also called meditating on the sugatagarbha, also called the non-dual wisdom looking at one's own face, also called the yoga of perfect accomplishment, this is the seventh cycle of contemplation. Focusing the mind on the clear and empty rainbow-like deity form of one's own mind is the deity
