Combining the Essential Instructions of Buddha Recollection and Guru Yoga. Combining the Essential Instructions of Buddha Recollection and Guru Yoga. The Practice of Combining the Essential Instructions of Buddha Recollection and Guru Yoga. Namo Guru. (藏文:ན་མོ་གུ་རུ།,梵文天城体:नमो गुरु,梵文罗马拟音:Namo Guru,汉语字面意思:Homage to the Guru.) Beyond going, coming, and abiding in the sphere of ultimate meaning. From the manner of forms, pervading all directions and times. The supreme, primordial nature of all phenomena. I take refuge in the Buddha, Guru, and Dharmakaya. Like illusory beings reaching the limit of the sky, From the self-liberation of this mere deluded appearance, In order to establish wisdom in the single, equal taste, Practice the recollection of the Guru Buddha. Like this, the Buddha, Bhagavan, Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, complete with knowledge and conduct, Sugata, Knower of the World, Tamer of Beings, unsurpassed, teacher of gods and humans, this very Buddha, Bhagavan. Slowly recite, contemplating the meaning. That is: The supreme sovereign, guide, Shakyamuni, The Bhagavan who conquered the four maras and possesses six perfections. The Tathagata who sees the nature of reality without error, The Arhat who has conquered the enemy of afflictions, having completely vanquished all defilements and habitual tendencies. The Perfectly Awakened One who has purified all faults, Knowing all knowable things. Complete with knowledge, wisdom, and so forth, knowing all three times without omission. The Sugata, complete with miraculous feet, whose miraculous journeys pervade the limits of the sky. Having accomplished the cause, the Sugata, the supreme fruit is attained. The Knower of the World who knows the end of afflictions, suffering, and samsara. The Tamer of Beings who tames all sentient beings with skillful means. The unsurpassed one, there is none higher than you, nor is there anyone equal to you. The teacher of all gods and humans, with the activity of showing the path to liberation. Think about the meaning of each word. Thus, the Dharmakaya of all Buddhas, Is constant and unchanging, complete with all qualities. Liberated from all faults and obscurations, Always pervading samsara and nirvana. Always devoid of all extremes of elaboration. I possess this very Dharmakaya of the Victorious One. Just as where there is a flower, there is also its fragrance, The two form bodies are also inseparable from me. Thus, recite and contemplate the meaning. From now on, contemplate this meaning many times. In front of oneself or in general.

Or in the heart, may the Buddha Bhagavan, complete with all marks and signs, reside. This is the root precious guru. Glorious Lama, Buddha Bhagavan, the sole Dharmakaya is equal to the limits of space. I pray to you, please bless me. The self-nature of all dharmas, this primordial wisdom, is the supreme heart of the glorious Lama, the Dharmakaya is of one taste and non-dual with all Buddhas. I pray to the Lama Dharmakaya. Although there is no conceptual thought, effort, or elaboration, you show endless appearances of the body to those to be tamed. The Rupakaya appears in the form of a holy spiritual friend. I pray to you, Vajradhara. The five victorious ones are spontaneously accomplished from the beginning. You accomplish the welfare of beings through the appearance of the five aggregates. You liberate all those to be tamed through the form of the aggregates. I pray to you, the supreme aggregate body. The Tathagatas of the primordial nature of reality, as well as the heroes and heroines, and the Dakinis, tame beings through the four elements and powers. I pray to you who show the form of each of them. From the wisdom free from elaboration, the self-nature of all, there is nothing other than what is called the Dharmakaya pervading space. That is the heart of you, the kind Dharma Lord. I pray to you, Vajradhara. The ultimate three realms are self-arisen from the beginning. In the appearance of those to be tamed, the three realms appear everywhere. It is not meaningless, you always bring benefit and happiness. I pray to you, whose activity is spontaneously accomplished. The self-nature of all that is stable and moving is you, Lama. You are the actual embodiment of all Buddhas of the ten directions and three times. You reside in the heart of all beings. Please bless me to realize this directly. This is the combined essence of the remembrance of the Buddha and the Guru Yoga. In general, the repeated meditation on the qualities of abandonment and realization of the perfectly enlightened Buddha, with joy arising from remembrance, is called the remembrance of the Buddha. The Dharma is the meaning of what that Buddha spoke, of engaging and withdrawing, of abandoning and adopting. The Sangha is the one who practices that speech without error. The Dharma is the gateway to virtue, and generosity and discipline are such. Knowing this, one cultivates faith and belief, and the witnesses to our conduct, which must be careful, are the gods of the white side. Thus, the subsequent remembrances...
