Rinchen TerdzodTD2504 Section with the practice and subsequent permission of Jampal Nagaraja. 61-37-1a ༄༅། །Section with the practice and subsequent permission of Jampal Nagaraja. Om Svasti! Manjushri, brave one, to the difficult to tame beings, Greatly wrathful, in the form of a Naga demon, I prostrate to that one and explain here, The essence of his practice. Rinchen Lingpa's treasure. Here, regarding the practice and subsequent permission of Jampal Nagaraja (Manjushri Nagaraja), there are three parts: the preparation of the preliminary materials, the main practice, and the subsequent permission ritual. First, the preparation of the materials: on the altar, arrange flowers on the mandala, and on top of that, place a triangular red or black torma, decorated with images of fish, snakes, and frogs. There is also a tradition of making a round white torma. In any case, decorate it with an image of the deity (tsakli). In front of it, arrange five white tormas and five offerings. Gather all necessary items such as the vajra, bell, and flowers. Second, the practice: first, perform the preliminaries such as dispelling obstacles, setting boundaries, taking refuge, and generating bodhicitta. The main part is: in order to save all sentient beings from the afflictions of ignorance and malice, one should practice Jampal Nagaraja. Thinking thus, one's own mind transforms into a black 'Pha' (藏文:ཕེ,梵文天城体:फ,梵文罗马拟音:Pha,汉语字面意思:Pha) syllable, blazing with light. From that 'Pha' syllable, black 'Pha' syllables radiate out. Pha Raksha Kuru Bhrum), in the boundary between the mundane and supramundane realms, in an ocean adorned with various jewels, inside a palace made entirely of snakes, on top of a seat made of earth lords and nagas, 61-37-1b visualize oneself as the King of Wisdom, Nagaraja, with a dark blue-black body, possessing the wrathful face of a rakshasa, with three-cornered eyes glaring fiercely, baring venomous fangs. Nine snake heads soar into the sky. On the crown of the central snake head, in a house of jeweled ornaments, resides the lama Akshobhya (Immovable Buddha). Of the sixteen hands, the eight right hands hold curved knives, and the eight left hands hold snake lassos, the first two crossed at the heart, and the rest raised. The upper body is in the form of a rakshasa, leaning against Mount Meru. The lower body is a snake tail, coiled in the depths of the ocean. From all the mouths emanates the sound 'Iksha' (藏文:ཨིག་ཤ,梵文天城体:इक्ष,梵文罗马拟音:iksha,汉语字面意思:look). From the shaking of the hair, hail of sins and evils descends. The five Naga clans adorn the body in the form of snakes, and black depravity is suppressed below. Devouring all the Naga clans, residing in the midst of blazing flames. In the heart, the Wisdom Being is a coiled white snake, raising its head. In the heart, the Samadhi Being is the syllable 'Pha' (藏文:ཕེ,梵文天城体:फ,梵文罗马拟音:Pha,汉语字面意思:Pha). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
