Rinchen TerdzodTD2492: Section on the practice and subsequent permission of the terma of the Vajrapani Khangtsek, the clairvoyant monk. Section on the practice and subsequent permission of the terma of the Vajrapani Khangtsek, the clairvoyant monk. Oṃ svasti. Homage to the glorious, mighty, secret lord, The deity possessing the indestructible vajra mind. Having bowed to Kūṭigharaṃ (The Pavilion), I will explain the essence of his practice, condensed. Here, concerning the empowerment related to the Vajrapani practice originating from the Khangbu Tsekpai Gyü (The Pavilion Stacked Tantra), there are three parts: the preparatory stage, including the arrangement of offerings; the main stage, which is the practice itself; and the concluding stage, which is the അനുജ്ഞ (anujñā) ritual. First, regarding the arrangement of offerings: In the center of an eight-petaled lotus maṇḍala, write or arrange the Hūṃ syllable. On top of it, place a low table, setting up the torma and the deity image. In front, arrange the vase as usual, surrounded by offerings. All implements such as vajra and bell should be fully arranged. Second, in the preliminary part of the practice: Dispelling obstacles, setting boundaries, cultivating the four immeasurables, etc., are the same as usual. With the light from one's own heart, invite all the field of merit deities into the space in front, accumulate merit with the seven-branch offering, the field of merit deities dissolve into oneself. Meditate on all dharmas as emptiness with svabhava. For those who have not realized this, generate compassion with the thought of placing them in Buddhahood. In the state of indivisible emptiness and compassion, from the luminosity of one's own nature, visualize oneself instantly transforming into a great vajra protection wheel, in the pure center: From the syllable Paṃ (lotus) arises a lotus, and from the syllable Raṃ (fire) arises a sun disc, upon which the syllable Hūṃ (seed syllable) transforms into oneself—the secret lord Kūṭigharaṃ, with a body color of dark blue-black, one face, two arms, and three eyes, hair, beard, and eyebrows blazing, bared fangs. The right hand raises a five-pronged vajra, the left hand holds a blood-filled skull cup at the heart, possessing the demeanor of the nine dances. On a seat where Īśvara and Umā are intertwined, standing with the right leg bent and the left leg extended in a majestic posture. Adorned with a crown of five dry skulls and a necklace of fifty wet human heads, the upper body covered with a lion skin and blue silk, and a tiger skin loincloth hanging down. Possessing a garland of five types of nāga serpents, residing in a blazing mass of fire at the end of an eon. At his forehead is the syllable Oṃ (body), at the throat is the syllable Āḥ (speech), and at the heart is the syllable Hūṃ (mind). From the Hūṃ (seed syllable) at the heart, light radiates, inviting the wisdom beings and retinue, inseparable from the visualized deity, reciting 'vajra samāja'. Through 'jaḥ hūṃ baṃ hoḥ', they become one. Again, from the Hūṃ (seed syllable) at the heart, light radiates, inviting the five families of empowerment goddesses. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Invite and offer the retinue, and pray to grant me empowerment. After praying in this way, recite 'Om Sarva Tathagata Abhisheka Ta Samaya Shri Hum,' and bestow the empowerment, filling the body, purifying all defilements, and the remaining water condenses on the crown of the head, transforming into an Akshobhya Buddha image as a headdress. Offer with argham and other offerings, and praise: 'Mighty and possessing ferocity, King of Vidyas, supremely virtuous, Subduer of all the difficult to tame, I prostrate to Vajradhara.' In the heart, on a sun disc, visualize a blue five-pronged vajra, in the center of the sun disc is a blue 'Hum' syllable, surrounded by a rosary of mantras, combined with the visualization of contraction and expansion, recite as much as possible: 'Om Nilambara Dhara Vajrapani Rajniya Payati Svaha.' Finally, dissolve into a state of non-objectivity, and dedicate the merit. During breaks in practice, if a torma needs to be offered, bless the five meats and five amritas in a skull cup, emanate light from the 'Hum' syllable in the heart, and invite the torma guests in the space in front. Offer the torma three times with the root mantra plus 'Idam Balinta Kaka Kahi Kahi.' Offer inner offerings with 'Om Ah Hum,' and offer with other offerings. After praising as before, pray for activities. Offerings, generosity, torma, etc. (Note: Confess transgressions.) Request the torma guests to return with the 'Vajra Muh' mudra. Third, regarding the അനുജ്ഞാ (anujñā, permission) ritual: The self-generation mandala, the front-generation mandala, and the vase are all practiced as described in the previous ritual, but the visualizations are different. In this way, recite simultaneously for the front-generation mandala and the torma, especially visualizing nectar flowing from the deity's body in the vase, filling the vase, relying on the mantra cord for recitation, the dissolution of light, etc., all as in the common ritual. The torma offering and the request for അനുജ്ഞാ (anujñā, permission) precede. The disciple's actions: bathing, dispelling obstacles. First, explain the appropriate Dharma. Regarding Vajrapani, there are countless sadhana lineages. Here, it comes from the tantra called 'The House with Many Stories,' which is a profound Dharma of Guru Padmasambhava, a treasure revelation of Geshe Gya Tön Wangchuk Bar. The secret lord Kūṭigharaṃ, which means 'The House with Many Stories,' is the method of practice. In order to receive the blessings and empowerment of this practice, signal the offering of a mandala. After offering the mandala, repeat this prayer: 'Vajradhara, please be mindful, for the benefit of beings, I sincerely pray to you, please grant all അനുജ്ഞാ (anujñā, permission).' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
