Rinchen Terdzod (རིན་ཆེན་གཏེར་མཛོད།, treasure trove of precious teachings) TD2469 'The Excellent Vase of Fulfilling Desires: Sādhanas of the Myriad Supreme Deities of the Three Roots, Dharma Protectors, and Wealth Deities' 61-2-1a 'The Excellent Vase of Fulfilling Desires: Sādhanas of the Myriad Supreme Deities of the Three Roots, Dharma Protectors, and Wealth Deities' General Introduction to 'The Excellent Vase of Fulfilling Desires: Sādhanas of the Myriad Supreme Deities of the Three Roots, Dharma Protectors, and Wealth Deities' 'The Excellent Vase of Fulfilling Desires: Sādhanas of the Myriad Supreme Deities of the Three Roots, Dharma Protectors, and Wealth Deities' General Introduction 61-2-1b Oṃ Svasti (ཨོཾ་སྭསྟི།, oṃ svasti, Om Svasti, May there be well-being!). The all-pervading teacher, Vajrasattva (རྡོ་རྗེ་སེམས་དཔའ།, vajrasattva, Vajrasattva, Vajra Being) himself, An emanation of the glorious and supreme guru (བླ་མ།, bla-ma, Guru, Teacher). Appearing completely in the vast ocean of maṇḍalas (དཀྱིལ་འཁོར།, maṇḍala, Mandala, Circle). I prostrate to that wondrous magical creator. Although inseparable in the sphere of primordial wisdom (ཡེ་ཤེས།, jñāna, Jnana, Knowledge), The power of compassion follows the various minds of beings. What can be said to represent the endless manifestations of the three roots (རྩ་གསུམ།, tsa-gsum, Tri-mūla, Three Roots)? However, those with inferior minds who share their own fortune, Constantly strive to benefit beings with compassion. Although not crossing the vast ocean of extensive sādhanas, They bestow desires with the nectar of profound essence. Therefore, this is a gift of nectar that makes everyone happy with the benefit and happiness of oneself and others. This method of accomplishment, like a wish-fulfilling, Excellent vase, bestows glory. Moreover, within the Vajra 61-2-2a Vehicle's teachings, there are endless sādhanas of supreme deities. These sādhanas arise in accordance with the thoughts and inclinations of fortunate beings. Here, to ensure that the blessings of the lineage are not diminished, the necessary sādhanas that have been continuously preserved are compiled into one collection. However, all these sādhanas have different forms of rituals, such as blessings, permissions, entrustments, and recitation transmissions. All of these should be given only to those who have received empowerment in a great maṇḍala and possess the vows. Otherwise, one will be far from attaining the supreme fruit. Therefore, it is not enough for the teacher to have merely received the transmission of these sādhanas. They must have completed the recitation of the main deity of the maṇḍala described herein, 61-2-2b or at least have completed the recitation of one great maṇḍala and be skilled in the practice of the rituals. In particular, it is essential to be someone who is experienced and familiar with the rituals and practices of these sādhanas. Therefore, for the sake of convenience, well-known sādhanas have been collected, and some very rare sādhanas have also been collected to ensure that the lineage is not interrupted. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
