Dispel obstacles and establish boundaries, clarify the motivation. Moreover, from the Bhagavan Secret Lord Vajrapani, the holder of the heart secrets of all Buddhas and the master of all mantras and tantras, there exist countless teachings of tantras and instructions corresponding to each of the four classes of tantra, with their root and branch distinctions. Among the numerous sadhanas and karmas explained by accomplished masters in both India and Tibet, there is a special instruction to protect and save beings from the harm of malevolent stars and spirits that suddenly snatch away life, known as 'Sun Spear'. It is said to originate from Gyalwa Yangzangpa (a Kagyu master) and others. Unlike them, this instruction is not associated with empowerment. This comes from the mind treasure of the emanation of Dharma King Trisong Detsen, the supreme vidyadhara Hayagriva Wangi Gyalpo Nuden Drapotsal. It is extremely profound, possessing the power of blessing and the certainty of conviction gained through experience. In this way, guide them through ripening and liberation, and then have them offer a mandala. Pray with strong devotion and reverence to the guru and the Secret Lord as inseparable, and repeat after me: Vajradhara Buddha as the main deity, to us fortunate ones, please bestow the supreme empowerment of the great Secret Lord. (Repeat three times) Take refuge in the assembly field, the Three Roots, the ocean of Buddhas, confess sins, generate bodhicitta, etc., and tame the mind by remembering the meaning of the five branches, repeat after me: I take refuge in the Three Jewels. (Repeat three times) Then, recite the special prayer: As I offer to the Bodhi Vajra Buddha, and as I pray, for the sake of protecting us, please grant me the Vajra of Space today. (Repeat three times) To establish the basis of empowerment and invoke the wisdom being, visualize as follows: Samsara and nirvana, all phenomena are emptiness. (Recite according to the treasure text) Light radiates, inviting the wisdom being to merge. (Recite) At the end of the invitation verse and the heart mantra, add: Vajra Aveshaya Ah Ah, recite and bestow blessings. May the wisdom being be firm. Make it firm with 'Tistha Vajra'. Hold the vase. This vase itself, outwardly in a palace of jewels, dwells the majestic and glorious Secret Lord Wrathful Vajra, from his body descends a stream of blessing wisdom.
