The beginning of the profound teachings on treating and protecting against earth diseases and root-worm infestations, from the Great Treasure Trove of Termas TD1900. Peaceful activities, treatment for swellings. Namo Hayagriva Kalaye. (Homage to Hayagriva) I prostrate to the feet of Avalokiteśvara, inseparable from the Lama and Yidam, the Black Hayagriva. In these degenerate times, the forces of darkness, the Nagas and Nyen spirits, are rampant, and virulent swelling diseases blaze like fire. For the benefit of beings, I have gathered and arranged the scattered instructions on protection and healing. May the Dharma protectors grant their blessings! Demons are the poisonous breath of Nagas and Nyen spirits, their essence being worm-like creatures as small as a hair's tip. They are divided into nine types, white and black, such as fire, water, and wind. The internal signs are trembling, painless swelling, which gradually increases and becomes unbearable. If it goes inward, there is no swelling, but sudden death. The method of treatment is as follows: When a great person comes to a place, offer tea with one sho of gold. Drink a bowl of juniper juice. Apply honey and sugar to the tip of the swelling. Around the base of the swelling, four fingers behind it, or around the edge of the swelling, apply circles of barley flour, salt, and sumac ash in order. Then surround it with dried dung. If a great person is present, mix it with alcohol and milk. Bloodletting on the swelling is very beneficial. If you have Khyunga Nga pills, they are good to take. Or administer musk mixed with water. Even without medicine, you can succeed with mantras and mantra water. Visualize yourself as a fearsome Brahmin, with red eyebrows and beard. Meditate on sparks of fire flashing forth. Meditate on the mantra water as boiling hot water. Meditate on the swelling, its lord, and retinue being burned by the boiling hot water. Recite the mantra and drink and apply the mantra water. If it is a domestic animal, pour the mantra water into its mouth. It will be beneficial if it goes into the stomach. Om Raksha Raksha Byema Raksha Sod, Marya Marya Nagpo Tum Hril Le Sad Soha. (Om Protect Protect Lotus Protect Burn, Red Red Black Tum Completely Kill Soha) If it becomes necessary to dissect the swelling, visualize yourself as a fearsome black Garuda, with flames blazing from its horns, beak, claws, and feathers. Meditate on the mantra water as boiling hot water, burning the swelling and its lord. Drink the mantra water and wash your hands. Sprinkle mantra water on the remains of the swelling. Enchant all the knives used for dissection. Visualize the knife as the beak of a Garuda, and the remains of the swelling as a snake. Visualize the Garuda eating the snake. Then, after dissecting the remains of the swelling, cook the meat until there is no blood left. Then burn or bury it. If you do not burn or bury it, it will recur. If the swelling arises in a human body, visualize yourself as an angry Padmasambhava. If it arises in a domestic animal, visualize yourself as an angry Hayagriva. If it arises in a house, visualize yourself as an angry Vajrapani. If it arises in a field, visualize yourself as an angry Yamantaka. If it arises on a road, visualize yourself as an angry Kila. If it arises by water, visualize yourself as an angry Varuna. If it arises by fire, visualize yourself as an angry Agni. If it arises by wind, visualize yourself as an angry Vayu. If it arises by a mountain, visualize yourself as an angry mountain deity. If it arises by a tree, visualize yourself as an angry tree deity. If it arises in space, visualize yourself as an angry space deity. If it arises underground, visualize yourself as an angry earth deity. If it arises in a dream, visualize yourself as an angry sleep deity. If it arises in food, visualize yourself as an angry food deity. If it arises in clothing, visualize yourself as an angry clothing deity. If it arises in utensils, visualize yourself as an angry utensil deity. If it arises in men and women, visualize yourself as an angry male and female deity. If it arises in enemies, visualize yourself as an angry enemy deity. If it arises in friends, visualize yourself as an angry friend deity. If it arises in yourself, visualize yourself as an angry self deity. If it arises in others, visualize yourself as an angry other deity. If it arises in the past, visualize yourself as an angry past deity. If it arises in the future, visualize yourself as an angry future deity. If it arises in the present, visualize yourself as an angry present deity. If it arises above, visualize yourself as an angry upper deity. If it arises below, visualize yourself as an angry lower deity. If it arises in the four directions, visualize yourself as an angry deity of the four directions. If it arises in the four corners, visualize yourself as an angry deity of the four corners. If it arises in the middle, visualize yourself as an angry middle deity. If it arises everywhere, visualize yourself as an angry deity of all places. After visualizing yourself as an angry deity, recite this mantra: Om Benza Troda Kala Razha Soha. (嗡 班匝 卓大 嘎拉 惹札 梭哈) While reciting this mantra, visualize all swellings and their lords being destroyed. This is a very profound teaching, do not take it lightly. If there is a swelling, you can treat it according to this method. This method can quickly eliminate swellings and benefit countless beings. This is a terma of Padmasambhava, recorded by Yeshe Tsogyal. May there be auspiciousness! May there be increase! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
