Great Treasure of the Termas TD1713: The Extremely Easy-to-Carry Red and White Torma Offering. General Section. Red and White Torma. The Extremely Easy-to-Carry Red and White Torma Offering. Namo Guru. In the morning, mix clean tsampa with white sugar, jewels, and various medicines. In the evening, mix tsampa flour with meat, alcohol, and various foods. If the main purpose is to benefit beings in the bardo, then mixing any samaya substances that lead to immediate liberation is very important. Place such torma offering substances into the fire and sprinkle water. Myself and all beings as vast as space, Refuge embodiment, Avalokiteśvara, Protector, I take refuge in you. As you generate the mind of bodhicitta, To liberate beings pervading space, May I quickly attain buddhahood. May all sentient beings have happiness, Be free from all suffering, Inseparable from supreme bliss, And abide in equanimity, without near or far. Thus, generate refuge and bodhicitta, and meditate on the four immeasurables. Instantly, transform yourself into Avalokiteśvara, becoming the form of Khasarpani (Avalokiteśvara who eliminates diseases). Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ. Recite three times. Visualize that from the burning offerings, from the three syllables Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ, emanate clouds of wisdom offerings. To the infallible Three Jewels, I offer the burnt nectar offering. I pray for protection for myself and sentient beings. To the lama, yidam, and dakinis, I offer the burnt nectar offering. Please bless myself and sentient beings. To the dharma protectors, local deities, and earth lords, I offer the burnt nectar offering. Please dispel obstacles and accomplish activities. Dedicating this burnt nectar offering mainly to parents and other sentient beings, may obscurations be purified and the two accumulations be perfected. Dedicating this burnt nectar offering to sentient beings abiding in the bardo, may deluded appearances and suffering be pacified. Dedicating this burnt nectar offering to all karmic creditors, enemies, and obstructors, may debts and blood feuds be cleansed. Just as all past buddhas accomplished their aims through generosity, by the power of this truth of the pure nature of reality, may all aspirations be fulfilled. Recite these and the Seven Treasures Prayer, the Six-Syllable Mantra, and Kaṃ Ka Ni, etc. Recite 'By the power of my pure intention,' etc., the words of truth, and 'All phenomena arise from causes,' etc., practice dharma giving, and make dedications and aspirations as appropriate. Furthermore, for the profound red torma offering for the daily ransom of death, in the evening, mix tsampa with meat, blood, grains, and various medicines and burn it. Practice any refuge and bodhicitta. Visualize yourself clearly as Avalokiteśvara. Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ. Recite three times.
