Great Treasure of Termas TD1662: 'A Clear Explanation of the Practice of the Wheel of Seeing Liberation: The White Crystal Arrow'. Various Activities. Practice of Seeing Liberation. Homage to the Guru, Deva, Dakini! This great Wheel of Seeing Liberation, which arises from the Gathering of the Guru's Intentions, seems to be present in only a few of the great Nyingma monasteries in the Kham region. However, nowadays, as the essence of the teachings is declining, it is seen that those who practice this kind of important teaching according to the scriptures are very rare. Merely scattering seeds that express the essence of the support on a printed wheel does not even align with the intention of the scriptures, so the benefits are also seen to be similar. If someone were to practice this kind of teaching in accordance with the scriptures, it would be evident that they are an extraordinary Bodhisattva who is sure to be free from self-interest. Therefore, for the benefit of those who have a superior mind of enlightenment and little manifest pride but are of lesser intelligence, this practice has three aspects: drawing the wheel, consecration, and the method of applying it to activities. First, on the morning of special times such as the eighth, tenth, and fifteenth days of the waxing moon, perform a gathering and fulfillment offering of a fire garland. Sincerely pray to the Guru, Yidam, and Dakini, and request activities that will bring about limitless benefit to others. The writer, who has received empowerment and is endowed with vows, should face east and write without adding or subtracting. Even if it is a print, the method of imprinting should be done in this way, but if one is satisfied with whatever happens, it will result in contempt for the profound secret that arises spontaneously and the transgression of the command. Drawing materials: Mix red cinnabar with good-smelling substances such as camphor, saffron, and sandalwood, as well as indispensable blessed medicinal substances. Once all the colors are complete, spread them in a precious vessel filled with grains. If there are many, stack them and place them with respect. The mantra on the outer circle of this seems to be based on a Sanskrit remembrance of the Three Jewels, but it appears to be largely incorrect and habitual, so if one were to slightly correct the parts that are definitely incorrect without being too daring, it would be of service. Secondly, the consecration: Although only the actual consecration of the scripture is explained, below it says: 'As shown above to all, Guru, Yidam, Dakini, Diligently cherish the practice of approaching, accomplishing, and offering tormas. Consecrate the chakra many times.' From the power of these words, it is known that accomplishment is also essential. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Not only are these methods explained, but as stated in the practice of the nine transmissions that share the same lineage as this Dharma, the method of accomplishment is extremely important. Although it is said that the mantra of the mandala should be recited hundreds of thousands of times, it is difficult to complete in a single consecration. If one engages in dedicated practice, the consecration can be performed multiple times, and the number of mantras will increase. Therefore, after constructing and completing the nine transmissions, including 'Seeing Liberation' and 'Wearing Liberation', the speech support is first consecrated according to the auspiciously layered consecration ritual of this lineage, or through a common ritual that is either elaborate or concise. Then, if it is associated with a great accomplishment practice, it is placed as the support for accomplishment. Those who recite the transmission or mantra counts can be arranged separately, and they should complete the recitation counts. One can combine it with an elaborate offering ritual of self-generation, front-generation, and vase offering, such as the Tsélé Offering Ritual. Even for a simple ritual, one must perform self-generation, front-generation, and recitation according to the clear instructions of their respective texts. In any case, it is important to increase the amount of outer and inner offerings, tormas, and gathering feast items as much as possible. Therefore, here as well, first the consecration: the vessel of the mandala is placed on a platform, and all the consecration implements are fully assembled. If there is no fire offering ritual, or if it is not feasible, then one performs the daily self-generation yoga recitation. Starting from blessing the flowers and purification bath, the speech support is elaborated with the stages of generation, dissolution, opening the eyes, inviting, seating, stabilizing, and auspicious prayers according to the lineage's ritual. Then, the mandala is arranged in front, according to how elaborate or concise it is, as the support for practice, and the activity ritual is performed. If the Tsélé Offering Ritual is performed, then there is no need for a separate mandala generation ritual. Since the front-generation is based on the mandala, the bathing and other rituals are naturally included. After the general compilation, when reciting all the mantras of the mandala, one visualizes that the light from one's own heart stimulates the front-generation, and from it emanates immeasurable light, which stimulates the minds of the three roots and all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions, causing them to appear like a rain of mandala deities, blessing and blazing with glory. Again, the light radiates and pervades the expanse of space, removing all the conceptual obscurations, karmic obscurations, and habitual tendencies of sentient beings included in the six realms and the four births. One visualizes that they instantly awaken in the primordial expanse, and that samsara and nirvana are perfected in the ground, pure and vast, swirling as a collection of emptiness and five lights. At the end of the prostrations, confession, and aspiration prayers, one makes the desired offerings arising from the fire offering. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
