Visualize gathering, giving the illusory body's flesh and blood to them as they desire, visualizing them devouring greedily and taking away the leftovers. Now, towards this body, do not have even a speck of attachment. If you like meat, eat meat; if you like blood, drink blood. If you want to eat now, eat now; if not in a hurry, cook it and eat it. May all the accumulated karmic debts from beginningless lifetimes be purified. Decide this in your mind, and speak it in your mouth as well. Relax without concern, let go completely. Alternately experience fear and dread, do it like that. Now, the body has been given to the gods and demons of existence, it no longer exists. Mind, even I myself have not seen you. Without foundation, without root, empty and without owner. Do not fixate on self, gods and demons, and the three objects of severance, rest evenly in the state of the three emptinesses. By practicing in this way, three kinds of miracles will occur: gods and demons will manifestly show various ugly forms, roaring like thunder, threatening and intimidating; the body will tremble and sweat from the glory; or become stiff, tremble, and be unable to speak; dreams will appear with various frightening scenes. Thus, sever these three kinds of objects of severance's miracles with three instructions for severing, dividing them into superior, middling, and inferior. The superior is non-fixation, no matter what miracle occurs, do not analyze it, rest in a state like the sky. The middling is to meditate by dwelling on the miracle, thereby purifying the fixation on fear. The inferior is to analyze the miracle, determining that there is not even a speck of truth in the empty forms of self-appearance, and then let them take the flesh and blood. The third part is the conclusion. By practicing in this way, four signs of accomplishment will occur: common accomplishment, special accomplishment, subduing gods and demons, and supreme accomplishment. Thus, when the signs of accomplishment manifest and the practice reaches completion, when departing from this life, dedicate the merit, make aspirations, treat harm-doers and gods and demons with loving-kindness and compassion, and also give the gift of Dharma. By doing so, one will complete the accumulations and purify obscurations. As the self-grasping of the body diminishes, adverse conditions will arise as helpers. Realizing the suchness of the mind, one will abide in the state of the Dharmakaya, the Great Mother, Prajnaparamita. This teaching called 'The Laughing Cry of the Hero,' which explains the order of practicing all the essential points of the profound severance in one seat, is all the Victorious Ones... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Relying on the instructions of the omniscient lama, the master of all lineages, to act in this way, the Sakya lay practitioner and Vidyadhara, Gyurme Dorje, clearly and accessibly recorded the oral transmission instructions. The Instructions on Burning Skull. When there are extremely deep hidden dangers and strong disturbances from spirits and demons, the practice of Burning Skull should be performed. Specifically, visualize the body as a white and large skeleton, with red flames burning fiercely from the eyes, mouth, and gaps in the ribs, filling the entire expanse of the sky. Meditate on this for a long time. Finally, visualize the body, together with the flames, dissolving into light, vanishing into emptiness, free from the three states of arising, abiding, and ceasing, transcending all thoughts and words, and abide in that inconceivable state. Alternatively, when a king or others are strongly disturbed by harmful spirits, and other methods are difficult to apply, visualize oneself as a majestic and powerful deity, from whose heart emanates the form of a Yogini, appearing in the space in front. The Yogini holds a curved knife in her right hand, peeling off the skin of the body, revealing a delightful interior like a palace, and visualize the disturbing spirit being delighted and eager to enter. Then, visualize tightly binding the disturber with one's own intestines, leaving it no escape. Visualize the deity, manifested as the Yogini, swirling the disturber's head with her right hand and smashing it on the ground, turning it into a bloody mess and flinging it to an infinitely distant place. Finally, visualize oneself, the spirits, and the object of cutting, all as manifestations of one's own mind and wisdom, the play of non-duality, beyond thought, and abide in the state of great emptiness. These two meditation methods are not commonly found in most Chöd instructions, but for spirit disturbances, there is nothing more profound than this. So said my lama. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
