Listen! From the signs and intrinsic nature of the three syllables (Om, Ah, Hum) of the three places (body, speech, and mind), rays of light emanate, inviting from their respective abodes. Accompanied by the grand offering of smoke and the sounds of musical instruments, it is said thus: Hum! With faith and commitment, please descend, inviting the Dharma protectors. Powerful Nine Deities (Stobs ldan sde dgu) and their retinues, I beseech you to come to this place of offering. Samaya Dza Dza (ས་མ་ཡ་ཛ་ཛཿ)! Hum! In this vast mandala of the terrifying charnel ground, in the realm where blood and flesh gather into an ocean, upon the subjugation of the malicious destroyers of the Dharma, I beseech the Dharma protectors and their retinues to abide. Samaya Satvam (ས་མ་ཡ་སཏྭཾ)! Hum! Possessing the power and ability to protect the Buddha's teachings, even transcending the world, you still maintain the form of samsara. Not exceeding the time limit, for those who break their vows, extracting their heart essence, I prostrate to these oath-bound Dharma protectors. Ati Puhoh (ཨ་ཏི་པཱུ་ཧོཿ)! Hum! Arranging blood offerings, displaying the flowers of the five senses, the grand smoke offering, igniting pure and bright lights. Anointing with scented water, piling up food of flesh and bones, playing fierce musical instruments, preparing harmonious objects of commitment. Offering medicine, alcohol, Torma (ritual cake) feast, and objects of offering and enjoyment, the best of form, sound, smell, taste, and touch, the bliss. Offering to the Dharma protectors and their retinues, swiftly accomplish the fierce activities of the deity. Om Vajra Argham (ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་ཨརྒྷཾ་), etc., Shabda Rupa Shabda Gandhe Rasa Sparshe Samaye Ah Hum (ཤབྡ་རཱུ་པ་ཤབྡ་གནྡྷེ་ར་ས་སྤཪྴེ་ས་མ་ཡེ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ།)! Maha Sarva Pancha Maha Balimta Kha Kha Khahi Khahi (མ་ཧཱ་སརྦ་པཉྩ་མ་ཧཱ་བ་ལིཾ་ཏ་ཁ་ཁ་ཁཱ་ཧི་ཁཱ་ཧི།)! Maha Mamsa Rakta Kimni Riti Kha Kha Khahi Khahi of enemies and obstructors (དགྲ་བགེགས་ཀྱི་མ་ཧཱ་མཱཾ་ས་རཀྟ་ཀིཾ་ནི་རི་ཏི་ཁ་ཁ་ཁཱ་ཧི་ཁཱ་ཧི།)! Sarva Shatrum Idam Grihna Svaha (སརྦ་ཤ་ཏྲཱུཾ་ཨི་དཾ་གྲྀཧྞ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།)! Sarva Puja Bodhicitta Gana Guhya Hoh (སརྦ་པཱུ་ཛ་བོ་དྷི་ཙིཏྟ་ག་ཎ་གུ་ཧྱ་ཧོཿ)! The tongues of the deities, born from the Hum (ཧཱུྃ) syllable, draw the essence of the Torma with the rays of light from the vajra tube and enjoy it. Om Mahakala Yaksha Vajra Citta Hum Phat (ཨོཾ་མ་ཧཱ་ཀཱ་ལ་ཡཀྵ་བཛྲ་ཙིཏྟ་ཧཱུྃ་ཕཊ།)! Ratna Siddhi Hum (རཏྣ་སིདྡྷི་ཧཱུྃ།)! Idam Balimta Kha Kha Khahi Khahi (ཨི་དཾ་བ་ལིཾ་ཏ་ཁ་ཁ་ཁཱ་ཧི་ཁཱ་ཧི།)! Recite three times, offering to the main deity. For the retinues, Idam (ཨི་དཾ་), etc., add the Torma mantra separately: Om Eka Dzati Mama Ruru Bam Hum Bhyo (ཨོཾ་ཨེ་ཀ་ཙཱ་ཏི་མ་མ་རོ་རུ་བཾ་ཧཱུྃ་བྷྱོ༴)! Om Keta Keta Svaha (ཨོཾ་ཀེ་ཏ་ཀེ་ཏ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།)! Rahula Samaya Hum (རཱ་ཧུ་ལ་ས་མ་ཡ་ཧཱུྃ༴)! Dakini Citta Rakta Samaya Hring Hring Dzah (ཌཱ་ཀི་ནཱི་ཙིཏྟ་རཀྟ་ས་མ་ཡ་ཧྲཱིང་ཧྲཱིང་ཛཿ༴)! Yaksha Citta Maha Rudra Maraya Hum Phat (ཡཀྴ་ཙིཏྟ་མ་ཧཱ་རུ་དྲ་མཱ་ར་ཡ་ཧཱུྃ་ཕཊ༴)! Vajra Sadhu Samaya Amuka Maraya Hum Phat (བཛྲ་སཱ་དྷུ་ས་མ་ཡ་ཨ་མུ་ཀ་མཱ་ར་ཡ་ཧཱུྃ་ཕཊ༴)! Raksha Rakta Samaya Kill the enemy's life Hur Thum Dzah (རཀྴ་རཀྟ་ས་མ་ཡ་དགྲ་བོའི་སྲོག་ལ་ཧུར་ཐུཾ་ཛཿ༴)! Dunting Citta Kala Kill the enemy Thumril Maraya Rbad (དུནྟིང་ཙིཏྟ་ཀཱ་ལ་དགྲ་བོ་ཐུཾ་རིལ་མཱ་ར་ཡ་རྦད༴)! Trisham Rbad Bhyo Ging Kara Devour the enemy's life Hab Hab (ཏྲི་ཤཾ་རྦད་བྷྱོ་གིང་ཀ་ར་དགྲ་བོའི་སྲོག་ལ་ཧབ་ཧབ༴)! Glorious Mahakala (dpal maHa kA la), Great Yaksha, Vajra Subduer of Demons, etc., the oath-bound Nine Deities and their retinues, please partake of this excellent offering, protect the Buddha's teachings. Although you never stray from the essence, With various fierce forms, Protecting the Dharma and subduing enemies and obstacles, I praise the assembly of the nine Damchen (བདམ་ཅན།, oath-bound ones) protectors! Hūṃ! Before the Guru, the embodiment of all Buddhas, I offer my vows, promises, and the essence of my life. Having sworn to slay the enemies of practitioners, Damchen (བདམ་ཅན།, oath-bound ones), the nine protectors and their retinues, Please remember your powerful past oaths, Accept the offerings of samaya substances that suit each of you. When called upon, come swiftly without delay, When dispatched, quickly accomplish the tasks assigned. May the tasks entrusted to you be accomplished! Usually, recitation is not necessary for regular Torma offerings, but if you specifically want to recite during practice, it can be done at this time: Visualize yourself as the Three Roots, with light radiating from your heart to the Damchen (བདམ་ཅན།, oath-bound ones) protectors, stimulating their vows, remembering their past oaths, and visualizing them accomplishing all that is entrusted to them. Then recite the above mantras in the order of the main deity and retinue. If you want to insert this ritual into the 'Heart Essence' practice or other supplications, this is sufficient. If you are practicing this ritual alone, then at the end, you need to perform confession, sending back, and supplication as in a common ritual. This was extracted from the texts by Karma Ngawang Yonten Gyatso, who uses medicine and learning as a path, with the intention of benefiting sentient beings, in conjunction with the newly compiled 'Heart Essence' practice.
