The Yu Thok Ningthig TD1107: A Concise Daily Offering to the Damchen De-gü (Nine Classes of Oath-bound Guardians) of the Yu Thok Ningthig, called 'Fulfilling the Aspirations of the Yogi'. Yu Thok Ningthig. Daily Offering. Namo Guru Gunanathaya. If a yogi wishes to increase the activity of the oath-bound guardians by making the blessings, guru practice, and compassionate sunlight into a yidam, but is unable to do so extensively, they may do so concisely: Arrange a torma (offering cake) adorned with flesh and blood. Abiding in samadhi (समाधि, samādhi, concentration) of the three roots, purify all vessels and contents by reciting Om (ओṃ, oṃ, complete). By reciting Ah (आः, āḥ, generate), the skull-cup becomes vast and expansive, equal to three thousand worlds, within which; by reciting Hum (हूँ, hūṃ, subdue), the essence of the torma becomes the nectar of stainless wisdom, and its form becomes a great ocean of flesh and blood arising from the slaying of enemies and obstructors, and a cloud of desirable qualities emanates. Om Ah Hum (ओṃ आः हूँ). Recite three times. Om Svabhava (ओṃ स्वाभाव, oṃ svabhāva, Om, nature), etc. In front, on the dharma-source, above the lotus and sun of enemies and obstructors: Mahakala (Mahākāla, Great Black One) Vajra Dudul, dark blue-black in color, right hand wielding a jewel-sword, left hand holding a skull-cup filled with citta (चित्त, citta, mind), extremely wrathful, terrifying, adorned with a garland of human heads. Wearing a black cloak, with a bengchen (great cloak) tied at the waist. Riding a black horse, residing in the midst of flames. In the east, Ekajati (Ekajaṭī, One Braid), dark blue-black, wrathful, holding a knife and skull-cup, riding a mule, horse, and crow. In the south, Khyabjug (Khyabjug, All-pervading), smoky in color, holding a snake-lasso and bow and arrow, riding a nine-headed crocodile. In the west, the jackal-faced one, holding a knife and skull-cup, and an enemy-axe and human head, riding a vulture. In the north, the yaksha executioner, with a tiger face, holding a copper knife and heart, adorned with citta (चित्त, citta, mind), riding a dragon. In the southeast, the life-razor, dark blue-black, wrathful, holding an iron hook, razor, and heart, riding a great lion. In the southwest, the rakshasa (demon) red, wolf-faced, wielding a sword, holding a trident and lasso, riding a nine-headed corpse. In the northwest, the demoness smoky in color, with a vulture head, holding an intestine-lasso and enemy-sattva heart, riding an iron wolf. In the northeast, the life-taker, poison-colored, holding a poison spear and poison bag, holding a wet head and phurba (ritual dagger), riding a nine-headed bear. All are endowed with the radiance of a million suns, wrathful, fierce, and terrifying, emanating countless emanations, destroying those who violate their oaths, and fulfilling the wishes of practitioners. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
