Think that inconceivable wisdom of bliss is born, and rest in equanimity in a state of clarity and awareness without grasping. Second, the illusory body as the basis of the path: In general, establish all phenomena of samsara and nirvana as exemplified by the eight similes of illusion. In particular, examine praise and blame, attachment and aversion, etc., as being like reflections in a mirror. Especially in both meditative and post-meditative states, practice diligently the samadhi of perceiving all appearances as the deity's form, like rainbows and water moons. Because the previous path has become stable, the wind-mind arises as the illusory deity's form. At any appropriate time, visualize the syllable Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) from the Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) in the heart radiating out to fill the sky, thereby dissolving the grasping of objects and essence, and focus on the mind as illusory wisdom dawns as the deity's mudra. Third, the essence of the path is clear light: During the day, do not follow after whatever thoughts arise, but rest in equanimity in the state of primordial clear light. If combined with the generation stage, then at the end of the session, practice dissolving the deity's form into clear light, and repeatedly practice the samadhi of arising as the union body. At night, sit in a cross-legged posture. Visualize yourself as Heruka, in the center of the five-colored sphere of light in the heart, on the center of a four-petaled lotus, there is a Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), and on the petals, visualize blue and clear Anuttara, focusing the mind on them in sequence. Gradually dissolve them into the Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽). Also, dissolve that into the realm of non-objectification, and rest in equanimity in the unaltered state of reality, so that the clear light of sleep will dawn. Fourth, dream as the measure of the path: Initially, the training is: During the day, recognize all appearances, sounds, and thoughts as dreams, and generate certainty. At bedtime, visualize a red four-petaled lotus in the throat, in the center of which is a Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), and on the four petals, red Anuttara, connecting with the intention of 'I am dreaming a dream,' gradually gathering them into the Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽). Focus the mind on that transforming into a red bindu, the nature of bliss, clarity, and light, and fall asleep without distraction, so that you will recognize dreams as dreams. Having become accustomed to that, you should train in increasing, developing, transforming, etc. Fifth, transference as the companion of the path: Visualize yourself as Heruka, and from the Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) in the heart, emanate many Hūṃs (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), blocking the nine sense doors and even the pores of the skin with Hūṃs (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽). The central channel of the body is straight, with the upper end piercing straight through the Brahma aperture, and the lower end closed off four fingers below the navel, visualize that within the heart, the nature of the inseparable wind-mind is the syllable Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) radiating five-colored light, and adjust... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Unite with the consort. When focused, in the space in front, visualize a great charnel ground, a mountain of blazing fire, and a vast expanse of the mandala. Visualize the lama Heruka (Wrathful Deity) and his retinue appearing vividly as they are, and with intense devotion, exhale the air while forcefully uttering ‘HIK’ (藏文:ཧིཀ་,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽). Visualize the ‘HUM’ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ་,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) syllable at your heart like a flash of lightning, entering from the union of the blood-drinking father and mother, and merging into the lama's heart. When inhaling, utter ‘KA’ (藏文:ཀ་), and direct it downwards. When concluding a session, leave the field of merit in front, along with all that supports and is supported, without any specific focus, and visualize the various vajras blocking the Brahma穴, then recite the vajra recitation as much as possible. When engaging in activities, remain equally in a state where the lama's mind and your own mind are indistinguishable. Sixth, regarding the intermediate state of connecting the paths: From now on, recognize all appearances as the state of the intermediate state of existence (Sridpa). In particular, whenever coarse thoughts such as attachment, hatred, joy, and sorrow arise, seize them with mindfulness and connect them with the intermediate state. By training to merge all of these into the body, speech, and mind of Heruka, you will maintain mindfulness in the intermediate state, thereby continuing the path and attaining liberation. When incorporating these paths into daily yoga, in Samatha (meditative concentration), primarily bring forth the generation stage and tummo (inner heat yoga). When concluding a session, meditate on luminosity. In all the intervals between sessions, practice illusion-like contemplation, and develop the practice of dreams and the intermediate state. When sleeping, clearly fix on either the aim of luminosity or dreams. At appropriate times, or at the end of each session, do not forget to do a contemplation of phowa (transference of consciousness) just enough. In all ways, recognize and become accustomed to knowing all appearances, sounds, and thoughts as the body, speech, and mind of the Great Glorious One. This is the supreme key to the path. By striving in this way, you will quickly attain the two siddhis (accomplishments). To understand these methods in detail, follow the explanations of the vajra verses of the scriptures and the instructions of the lama. Even for beginners, these steps alone will accomplish the goal. In short, as the root text says: ‘Such a very profound essence, the manifestation of the great bliss of the blood-drinkers, the meaning of many tantras and agamas, by meditating quickly attain enlightenment, the essential heart of the key instructions, is Ugyen (Padmasambhava) my lifeblood, though difficult to express, yet for the powerful master father and son, and the great service of Lotsawa (Tsogyal), and the king, subjects, and friends with pure samaya (vows), therefore, I entrust this heart essence as the core of the samaya.’ Thus, may it be auspicious!' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
