(Sanskrit Romanization) Om mahāsamaḥajñānavajrasvabhāva ātmako'ham (Literal Chinese meaning) Om, the great equal wisdom vajra, the self is me (Sanskrit Romanization) Om mahātyavekṣaṇajñānavajrasvabhāva ātmako'ham (Literal Chinese meaning) Om, the great observing wisdom vajra, the self is me (Sanskrit Romanization) Om mahākrodhānuṣṭhānavajrasvabhāva ātmako'ham (Literal Chinese meaning) Om, the great wrathful action vajra, the self is me May the five poisons transform into five wisdoms, and the five aggregates transform into the nature of the five Tathagatas. Upon the lotus and moon seat in the heart, around the white Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,hūṃ,吽,seed syllable) is the Vajra (བཛྲ་,vajra,Vajra), and upon the moon seat in the consort's heart, around the Mūṃ (མཱུཾ,mūṃ,芒,seed syllable) is Avalokiteśvara (དྷྱཱ་ཏྭཱི་ཤྭ་རཾ་,dhyātvīśvaram,Avalokiteshvara), remain steadfast in this realization, like the moon and stars. Secondly, in the close practice, like a wheel of fire, place awareness upon samsara. The second general meaning, concerning practice: clearly visualize the form of the mudra of the protector, take it as the basis of the vow, and like a yogi, perform the four activities, gradually developing the manifestation of realization. Secondly, concerning the great practice: draw the mandala (དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་,kyil khor,Mandala) properly in front, fill the skull cup with substances of blood and flesh, and arrange the supports. Offer the inner and outer secret torma (གཏོར་མ་,gtor ma,food offering) of medicine and blood. Adorn the mandala with flesh and blood (མཱཾ་ས་རུ་བྷི་,māṃsa ru bhi, meat and blood), full moons, moons, skulls, and so on. Settle the self-arisen clarity of the samaya mandala, open the wisdom mandala in front, view all appearances as a great mandala, like sesame seeds filling the sky, the mandala filled with deities, the sound of mantras pervading all realms like a buzzing beehive. The chain of mantras, with the nature of bliss, flows from the mouth of the deity, through the mouth of the consort, from the body of the consort, the secret emerges, giving rise to the red bodhicitta (བྱང་སེམས་,byang sems, bodhi mind). Abide in the manner of gathering accomplishments, dwelling in the channel of one's own vajra (རྡོ་རྗེ་,rdo rje,Vajra), the bindu in the heart increases great bliss, and one obtains the accomplishment of supreme bliss. When the Vajra Rakshasa dawns, practice the mandala together, receive the accomplishments, and consume the substances of accomplishment. The third general meaning, beginning the activity: according to what is desired, especially practice the Narag Dongtrug (ན་རག་དོང་སྤྲུགས་,na rag dong sprugs,Naropa's Six Dharmas), and whatever of the unpracticed six dharmas is needed, do it here. The fourth general meaning, the preliminaries: in a clean place with favorable conditions, sit on a comfortable seat of meditation, if possible, arrange the supports of body, speech, and mind, and the inner and outer offerings of medicine, blood, and torma. With a firm mind of renunciation, practice the three winds, purify obscurations, take refuge, generate bodhicitta, and begin to enter the preliminaries. Practice the daily yoga, take refuge, generate bodhicitta, practice the mudras, one's own awareness is the blissful emptiness of the deity, think of all dharmas as Samantabhadra and Samantabhadri, the five poisons transform into five wisdoms, the five elements transform into consorts, and the consciousnesses transform into heroes. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ya! Mind and everything else are inherently complete. The four gates are pure, abiding in the four directions. Endowed with the four immeasurables are the four gate goddesses. The six defilements are pure, abiding in the six Thubpas (Buddhas). Everything is inherently complete within oneself. The observing thought dissolves in its own place. Appearances and sounds arise as the wheel of wisdom. Food and drink are contemplated as the tsok (gathering) wheel. Practice the continuous yoga properly. Samaya! Gya Gya Gya! Like me, Padmasambhava (莲花生,莲花生,Padmasambhava, Lotus Born), I have separated and compiled from the tantras. Explaining them with pith instructions, I have established them as a means of practice. May the wise discern any errors. This profound heart drop, I have written on the rock of Anchung Namdzong. Beneath a copper-colored crescent moon, in a cave with auspicious signs, I have sealed it with handprints and concealed it as a treasure. Three hundred years after a thousand years have passed, may it meet with a destined one! Having met, may all who connect with it be liberated, and may my intention be fulfilled! Mantra Guhya! I, Chokgyur Lingpa, have retrieved it from the Karma's Vow Rock. May it flourish, expand, and abide long! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
