Pani. Hūṃ hrīḥ. Now is the time to consolidate life force, infuse the wealth of the vessel into the body, infuse the radiance of life into speech, and infuse the purity of essence into the mind. Body, speech, and mind, merge into the channels, winds, and bindus, merge into the luminous, constant life. Through the unwavering primordial seal, attain the state of being immutable, indestructible, and free from birth and death. Oṃ bhrūṃ (Tibetan, seed syllable). By diligently practicing four or six sessions in this way, one will actually see the deity, the holy water will boil and overflow, life will be prolonged, and the lamp will burn for a long time. Dreams will include the rising of the sun and moon, drinking nectar, eating fruit, rivers swelling, seeing white Stupas, and also feeling joyful and comfortable, desiring to stay in one's dwelling for a long time, etc. These are said to be signs of increasing life. After accomplishment, receive the blessings of accomplishment from the substances: Hūṃ hrīḥ. Immortal life deity assembly, please listen! The time for practice is complete, and meditation is as clear as the sun and moon. Now is the time for accomplishments to descend, please grant the supreme common accomplishments of life and wisdom. Kāya-vāka-citta siddhi phala āyuṣe hūṃ āḥ (Sanskrit transliteration: Kāya-vāka-citta siddhi phala āyuṣe hūṃ āḥ, literal meaning: Body, speech, and mind accomplishment, grant life Hūṃ Āḥ). Thus pray, and place the vase on the crown of the head. Enjoy the vase water and other substances, and hold a grand celebration feast. In short, to receive the longevity empowerment for one's own benefit, or to empower others, the prayer is as follows: Guru, great powerful lord of life, immortal protector, please listen! Please eliminate the obstacles to our lives, and grant the empowerment of life and wisdom. Take refuge, generate bodhicitta, and uphold the vows. Then comes the actual empowerment, divided into the preliminary empowerment to eliminate obstacles and the main empowerment to bestow the accomplishment of life. First is the preliminary: visualize the protector Torma as Hayagriva, and place it on the crown of the head. Hūṃ hrīḥ. Powerful Torma, blazing with wisdom and splendor, inseparable from the deity Hayagriva. By empowering the fortunate son of the lineage, may all obstacles to life be pacified. Hrīḥ haya-grīva baliṃ-ta abhiṣiñca hūṃ hūṃ hūṃ (Sanskrit transliteration: Hrīḥ haya-grīva baliṃ-ta abhiṣiñca hūṃ hūṃ hūṃ, literal meaning: Hrīḥ, Hayagriva, offering, empower, Hūṃ Hūṃ Hūṃ). After merging with the deity, visualize the disciple appearing as the samaya form of Amitayus Buddha and consort, and merge with the wisdom being, making it stable. The second part is the main empowerment to bestow the actual accomplishment of life: Summoning life, place the vase on the crown of the head. Hūṃ hrīḥ. Bhagavan protector Amitayus Buddha, may the empowerment of his body and all accomplishments be bestowed upon this fortunate disciple, and may he attain the indivisible Vajra body. Vairotsana himself treasured it in his heart, for the future benefit, buried it in the Shar Rong border. The emanation retrieved it, becoming the self-secret practice. The emanation of Amitābha (Ödpakme) and Avalokiteśvara (Chenrezig), wearing red and blue robes and a paṇḍita hat, and the fortunate monarch reincarnation named Auspicious, and those with the eye of Dharma, if they practice this, their life will be stable and their activities will be vast. Samaya! Gya Gya Gya! This Dharma was revealed by Rokje Lingpa from the center of the Rakshasa Fortress Red Rock in the Black Valley of Rongdong.
