Having Gathered All the Materials, The Disciple is Bathed, Obstacles are Expelled, Offerings are Made, and This Prayer is Recited: Ho! (ཧོ,ho,ho, Seed Syllable) In the Great Ocean of Samsara, Protect Those Who Are Drowning and Helpless! I Desire the Two Kinds of Accomplishments, I Ask to Reside in the Stage of Preparation. Then the Lama Bestows the Command: Ho! (ཧོ,ho,ho, Seed Syllable) In This Wheel of Delusion of Existence, Sentient Beings of Samsara Are Truly Pitiful! For the Method to Quickly Attain Liberation, For Obtaining Various Accomplishments, This Unsurpassed Secret Mantra, Is Not Permitted for Those Without Fortune, Therefore, Examine the Fortune for Accomplishment. Possessing Renunciation, Refuge, and Bodhicitta, The Rays of Light From the Guru's Heart, Purify the Disciple's Body, Speech, and Mind. From Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,hūṃ,hūm, Seed Syllable) Arises the Form of Vajrasattva (རྡོ་རྗེ་སེམས་དཔའ,dorje sempa,vajrasattva, Diamond Being), White and Clear, Holding Vajra and Bell, Perfectly Adorned, Residing on a Lotus and Moon Cushion, The Three Places Marked With Oṃ (ཨོཾ,oṃ,om, Body), Āḥ (ཨཱཿ,āḥ,ah, Speech), and Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,hūṃ,hūm, Mind). The Properly Sized Willow Branch is Held. In the Mandala Endowed With the Five Wisdoms, It is Thrown With Hasa Hā (ཧ་ས་ཧཱ,hasa hā,hasa ha, Laughter). If the Root is Bad, Show It to Oneself, Strive to Purify Obscurations, and Repeat Again. Give Cleansing Water With Bishuddhe (བི་ཤུདྡྷེ་,bishuddhe,bishuddhe, Purity), Drink and Rinse to Clarify Dreams. For Protection, With the Action Mantra of the Wrathful One, A Protection Cord With a Vajra Knot, Is Placed on the Right for Men, and the Left for Women. Born From Dhī (དྷཱི,dhī,dhi, Wisdom) and Khaṃ (ཁཾ,khaṃ,kham, Emptiness), Kusha Grass is Used as Pillow and Mat. Examine the Goodness or Badness of Dreams, If Bad, Strive to Purify Sins and Obscurations. To Prevent Reversal, Dharma is Taught. Disciples With Fortune, Offer a Precious Mandala as Offering. Ho!
