Secondly, focusing on the (deity), begin the recitation. While exhaling, visualize the (deity) in front. Reciting with focus on the deity is very effective. If that is also difficult, then with pure devotion, desiring to quickly accomplish the deity being practiced for the benefit of all sentient beings, even reciting in this way will bring great meaning. The different methods described in different scriptures cannot be refuted against each other, because this is said due to the need for taming, and the differences in faculties and wisdom. Therefore, with unwavering pure intention, desiring to quickly accomplish the deity, even reciting in this way can obtain immeasurable power. As (the scripture) says: 'Having abandoned all speech, begin to recite the secret mantra. Through bliss, one can also accomplish the deity, therefore, the power of mantra is very great.' Furthermore, in the root tantra it also says: 'Body is light, wisdom is light, the rays of light intermingle. Knowing that that is one's own mind, there is no need to practice Mahasukha elsewhere. One will obtain qualities and vidyadhara.' etc., because the benefits are widely proclaimed, those who enter mantra yoga should strive to make this the core. This method is according to the intent of the single-deity hand mudra practice of the Eight Herukas Gathering (Ka gye De shek Du pa) and the bell and vajra practice of Sangdok Heruka (Sangdok Heruka), applied to daily yoga for the sake of convenience. The method of recitation, in general, needs to be free from the six faults, especially during the approach retreat, one should perform whisper recitation, during the accomplishment of activities, one should perform vocal recitation, and in order to obtain supreme accomplishment, one should mainly perform mental recitation.' These words were written by Gyurme Dorje ('Gyur med rdo rje) at the request of Lobsang Donyo Drubpa (Blo bzang don yod grub pa), the treasurer of the all-victorious monastery (Phyogs las rnam par rgyal ba'i 'dus sde). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
