The Supplication of the Life Story of the Great Emanated Treasure Revealer, Chokgyur Lingpa, Called 'Auspicious Melodious Sound'. Chokling's Life Story. Supplication. The all-pervading, great bliss, clear light Dharmakaya (法身，धर्मकाय, dharmakāya, the body of dharma). The essence of samsara and nirvana, the indestructible great thigle (明点，बिन्दु, bindu, point). The master of all things, the primordial protector. I supplicate at the feet of the venerable lama. The heart son of the second Buddha of Orgyen (邬金，ओर्गेन, orgyen, Orgyen). The treasure revealer, the wheel-turning lord of the ocean of siddhas (成就者，सिद्ध, siddha, accomplished one). The inconceivable life story, the protector of beings in this degenerate age. I supplicate at the feet of Chokgyur Lingpa. Although from the beginning you have attained the nectar of perfect peace, your body and pure realms are arranged like clouds in an ocean. With great compassion, you manifest endless supreme emanations. I supplicate to you who display the magic of taming the four classes of beings. Especially as the son of the sovereign Trisong Deutsen (赤松德赞，ཁྲི་སྲོང་ལྡེ་བཙན།, khri srong lde btsan, Trisong Detsen) of Tibet, you attained the supreme siddhi (成就，सिद्धि, siddhi, accomplishment). As Sangye Lingpa (桑杰林巴，སངས་རྒྱས་གླིང་པ་, sangs rgyas gling pa, Sangye Lingpa) and others, with wondrous and amazing magical displays. Like a garland of births, you play with dances. I supplicate to you. Your aspiration is extraordinary, thinking of beings in this degenerate age. Your activity is extraordinary, showing what is suitable to whomever you tame. Your life story is extraordinary, holding unprecedented secret treasures. I supplicate to you who possess these three extraordinary qualities. In the center of Doto (多康，མདོ་སྟོད་, mdo stod, Doto), you took birth as you wished. Even in your youth, You clearly displayed the conduct of a holy being, surpassing ordinary realms. I supplicate to you who inspire joy in the faithful. When you were thirteen, in Mani Khar (玛尼康，མ་ཎི་ཁང་, ma Ni khang, Mani Khar), you directly met Orgyen (邬金，ओर्गेन, orgyen, Orgyen). You were given the empowerment of the profound treasures and blessed. You attained the support of the heart essence of the divine son and other siddhis (成就，सिद्धि, siddhi, accomplishment). Wisdom burst forth from the expanse of your mind treasure. I supplicate to you. You relied on numerous non-sectarian great beings, primarily the fathers and sons of Kathok (噶陀，ཀཿ་ཐོག་, kaH thog, Kathok), Dzogchen (竹庆，རྫོགས་ཆེན་, rdzogs chen, Dzogchen), Palyul (白玉，དཔལ་ཡུལ་, dpal yul, Palyul), and Shechen (协庆，ཞེ་ཆེན་, zhe chen, Shechen). You delighted them with the three kinds of satisfaction, perfecting the essence of the nectar of sutra and tantra. I supplicate to you who spread the glory of your mind. Padmasambhava (莲花生，པདྨ་འབྱུང་གནས་, padma 'byung gnas, Padmasambhava) directly appeared as Pema Wangchen (莲花王臣，པདྨ་དབང་ཆེན་, padma dbang chen, Pema Wangchen), and the glorious hero, Tsuklak Chogyal (持明法王，གཙུག་ལག་ཆོས་རྒྱལ་, gtsug lag chos rgyal, Tsuklak Chogyal). You were entrusted with the meaning lineage through symbolic prophecies. You attained the siddhi (成就，सिद्धि, siddhi, accomplishment) of dispelling obstacles. I supplicate to you. Especially with Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo (蒋贡康楚仁波切，འཇམ་དབྱངས་མཁྱེན་བརྩེའི་དབང་པོ་, 'jam dbyangs mkhyen brtse'i dbang po, Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo), you were connected like father and son. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Awakening from the continuation of karma, with the wondrous interdependence of unified mind, I pray for the opening of hundreds of thousands of Dharma doors. With the immaculate wisdom eye attained by birth, not concealing the upright Dharma, I pray for the perfection of the great power of the two knowledges, overwhelming all who boast of being wise and accomplished. In the enjoyment of the speech wheel and so on, the generation and completion stages, and the yoga of Dzogchen are perfected, delusion is dispelled, and the four activities are freely accomplished. I pray to become the crown jewel of the accomplished. In the pure appearance of the Lotus Light Pure Land, repeatedly going, with the Guru's three bodies and retinue, practicing the four approaches, I pray to receive empowerment and prophecy. Seeing all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas and countless Yidams, rejoicing in the gatherings of Dakinis and assemblies, may the oath-bound protectors and the white-sided guardians, fulfill their entrusted tasks as commanded. I pray to accomplish as instructed. The Guru's three bodies' practice section, peaceful and wrathful deities, as well as combined practices, Sutras, Tantras, and the three sections of Dzogchen, etc., I pray for the emergence of a great treasure trove of Dharma relics that have never appeared on earth before. Manifesting directly and indirectly the faces of a hundred sacred sites, mainly the twenty-five great sites of Do Kham, I pray to turn countless beings to the path of liberation. The Kagyupa and Drugpa fathers and sons, the great upholders of the Nyingma teachings, and the protectors of Tibet, all the great non-sectarian beings bow at their feet, I pray to become the Guru of Gurus. Praised by the prophecy of Orgyen Dorje, leading the ten root Dharma lords, in U-Tsang and Do Kham, I pray for the spreading of profound treasure activities. Bestowing great Vajra blessings upon the sacred sites, issuing majestic commands to the eight classes of spirits, arranging outer and inner interdependencies in all the key places, I pray to avert the degeneration of the degenerate age. Imparting common and uncommon ripening liberations, as well as great accomplishment dances, tasting liberation offerings, etc., impartially, making countless beings, I pray to make all connections meaningful. Encouraging those who cling to permanence to do good, and considering the vast and supreme benefit of others, before the fortunate ones, with various miracles, I pray to depart to the Lotus Light. In the pure land covered with lotuses, the lotus light is the supreme son of the Buddhas, like lotus sprouts in the ten directions, I pray to show endless manifestations.
