Instructions on the Unmoving Yoga of Mahamudra 23-69 ༄༅། །Instructions on the Unmoving Yoga of Mahamudra. Instructions on the Unmoving Yoga of Mahamudra. The essence of the profound meaning of the practice sequence of the Unmoving Yoga of Mahamudra, the door of limitless form, unchanging bliss, called the lord of all lineages without exception. The chief of all mandalas. All the Bodhisattvas'[glorious[father]. The teacher of all Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. The protector of all beings, including gods. The sixth Vajradhara, inseparable from him. The venerable and glorious holy guru, whose name is difficult to pronounce, Jñānapāda Nātha (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思:Wisdom Foot Protector), who is widely known in the three worlds, I respectfully prostrate to the lotus feet of that one. Glorious, unchanging, wisdom, great bliss. The innate mind that arises everywhere, stable and moving. From the transformation of self-experience into the dance of the four bodies. The skillful teacher, the glorious guru, protect me! Here, for the sake of the practitioners who have truly entered the Vajrayana, the main thing to do is to realize that all beings, without exception, are free from temporary defilements in their own nature. The very nature of unchanging great bliss, the self-power that appears unceasingly in all appearances, abiding in the ground, is what is to be manifested. For that purpose, one must attain the state of the four vajras, in which emptiness endowed with all perfections and unchanging bliss are inseparable, so it is absolutely necessary to desire to attain that state. 23-70 Thus, wishing to accomplish the supreme benefit of oneself and others, one must first strive to take refuge. The embellishment of the object of focus is combined with one's own inclination. The glorious guru himself is the essence of all objects of refuge, and with faith as the door, with a confident mind, taking refuge from the bottom of one's heart, and as long as one remains in the state of that fervent force of faith, without grasping, one must meditate again and again. Then, one must strive on the aforementioned generation of bodhicitta. Then, one must enter the main practice, which is equanimity.

And, through the door of the two yogas of clarity of objects, practice is necessary. In this, whatever appears, do not be attached to it, and abide without support, which is equality. There, all appearances are not established anywhere, and each is known by its own nature, which is the yoga of clarity of objects. Thus, among the paths to be practiced, the subtle deity yoga is: for all appearances, abiding single-pointedly with the attitude of a drunken elephant is the key point of the mind. Not speaking a word, letting the breath flow naturally as it is comfortable is the key point of speech. Legs in vajra posture, hands in fists placed on the thighs or placed equally, spine straight as a scale, crown of the head pointing to the sky, eyes not moving left or right, abiding immovably in the sky of space, lips placed naturally, and tongue touching the palate. Initially, in a dark room, if some stability is gained, then practice restraint in a bright room and a middle room, which is the key point of the body. At that time, if the mind does not abide or is not clear, then visualize the HUM (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) radiating light in the dhuti (藏文:དྷཱུ་ཏཱིར,梵文天城体:धूती,梵文罗马拟音:dhūtī,汉语字面意思:明点) of the forehead, and briefly hold the mind on it, then again abide without object. If it still does not abide, then slightly clarify the self-bliss supreme co-emergent, then again abide without object. By repeatedly practicing in this way, non-conceptual samadhi is born. These should only be done if the mind does not abide or is not clear. Otherwise, if one is exhausted by too much elaboration, at any time when it is clear and abides without concept, one will only see the image of emptiness that possesses all supreme aspects, which are the ten aspects such as smoke. If these appearances have diminished even though they have been seen before, or if they have not changed at all compared to the initial time, then all these appearances of phenomena, sounds, stability, and movement, these mistaken appearances are not truly established. However, since the door of appearance has not stopped, recognize that this is the illusion of one's own mind, generate certainty, and then again enter into the objectless, repeatedly practicing, which is enhancement. Through this, the emptiness image will definitely become special. After that, the yogas of increase should be entered, looking at the emptiness images such as smoke without any attachment, and experiencing that bliss, and all dharmas are also of the mind.
