Collected Teachings of Master Taranatha JT109: Summary of the Core Practice of the Six-Branch Yoga, the Wheel of Emanation. 4-698 ༄༅། །Summary of the Core Practice of the Six-Branch Yoga, the Wheel of Emanation. ༄༅། །Summary of the Core Practice of the Six-Branch Yoga, the Wheel of Emanation. ༄༅། །Namo Guru! Having prostrated to the feet of the Lama, I will briefly explain here the arrangement of the wheel of emanation for clearing obstacles and training the body, which is related to Vajra Yoga. The first of all is the pulse cleansing, which is the basis for all body training. Rub the head, hands, upper and lower body, and feet. The head has four types: circling, throwing forward and backward, twisting, and shaking. The arms have circling and rope throwing. Fist throwing and finger joint pulling are the four pulse cleansings for the hands. Grasping the knees and twisting the torso, placing the fists on the thighs and twisting the torso, hanging shoulders and clapping, and striking the breasts are four. Circling and rubbing the abdomen. Twisting the ribs and pounding with the fists. The four of the lower part and the three of the stomach. Vajra binding, forearms, and elbows are to be struck against the stomach. The waist pushes left, right, forward, and backward. Finger pulling, ankle standing and sitting are two. The four limbs shake and lift into the sky. There are thirty types in total. The essence is one wheel of emanation, which is the expansion of the five branches of training. The twenty root body trainings are: First, like hand washing. Second, turning the hands back and exposing the chest. Third, rubbing the fists on the thighs. Fourth, clapping in the vajra posture. Fifth, like drawing a bow and stretching a string. Sixth, fists hanging and shoulders clapping. Seventh, both hands like pounding stones. Eighth, elbows touching the throat and chest. Ninth, pushing the mountain in the lotus posture. Tenth, pounding the back with the fists. Eleventh, both hands embracing the inside of the thighs. Twelfth, standing and rubbing three times. Thirteenth, lying on the side and pressing, twisting the body slightly. Fourteenth, elbows fanning each other. Fifteenth, stretching the four limbs. Sixteenth, rubbing the left and right soles of the feet. Seventeenth, stretching forward. Eighteenth, twisting the left and right soles of the feet. Nineteenth, pulling from the tip of the secret place. Twentieth, stretching in four directions. Then, in the wheel of emanation of the limbs, there are twenty-four trainings for the places or faculties: U
