English version: According to the disciple's report, the Upadhyaya (teacher) Huiguo held recitations at the Guanyin Platform. After a long night, the Great Sage Avalokiteśvara (Guanyin, Bodhisattva of compassion) appeared in the great moon disc, with a great body and light like the white sun, and auspicious clouds were bright and pure. At that time, hundreds of thousands of people remotely admired and paid homage together. In the thirteenth year of the Dali era, the emperor ordered that the deceased Tripitaka (master of the three baskets of Buddhist scriptures) Upadhyaya of the Three Dynasties Transmission of Dharma and Abhisheka (initiation) in the Changsheng Hall's Daochang (ritual space), and ordered to tell Huiguo that after the Tripitaka Upadhyaya passed away, he was worried that the Dharma would have nowhere to go. It is said that you have learned the great Dharma, and it is always related to national affairs. By the side of Upadhyaya Huiguo, the recitation methods you received have been mostly forgotten. If someone comes to ask for guidance in the future, your position will be equivalent to that of Upadhyaya Huiguo. On the fifteenth day of the tenth month of the thirteenth year of the Dali era, Gao Lishi Li Xiancheng announced. At the beginning of the Jianzhong era, the monk Bianhong from the Holing Kingdom brought a pair of copper cymbals from his country and offered them to the Shengfo Monastery, two conch shells, and four copper water bottles, offered to Upadhyaya Huiguo as offerings, requesting to be taught the Garbhakosa (Womb Realm) Vairocana (the principal Buddha of esoteric Buddhism) Great Dharma. In the second year of the Jianzhong era, the monk Hyenil from the Silla Kingdom offered native products from his country to Upadhyaya Huiguo, requesting to be taught the Garbhakosa, Vajradhatu (Diamond Realm), Susiddhi, and other Yogas of various deities, thirty volumes in total. After being taught and becoming proficient, he returned to his country to widely propagate the great teachings. With sincere fasting and recitation, Siddhi (spiritual power or accomplishment) manifested. Thereupon, in broad daylight, he rushed to the royal palace of the Indian king to admire and pay homage, begging for the Dharma. A voice in the air said, 'In the Western Great Tang Kingdom, there is a secret Dharma, and the Dharma is in the Qinglong Monastery.' In the same year, the monk Wuzhen from the Silla Kingdom received the Garbhakosa Vairocana and the recitation teachings of various deities, etc. In the fifth year of the Zhenyuan era, he went to Central India, carrying the Sanskrit scriptures of the *Mahavairocana Sutra* and other scriptures, and died in the Tubo Kingdom. The disciples of the monastery, Yiming, Yiman, and Yicheng, simultaneously requested Upadhyaya Huiguo to teach them thirty volumes of the *Vairocana Garbhakosa Susiddhi Sutra*, etc. In the fifth year of the Zhenyuan era, by imperial order, in the Great Buddha Hall of the monastery, seven monks were ordered to pray for rain. On the seventh night, when the rain was sufficient, each was rewarded with a bundle of silk and ten strings of tea as thanks. By imperial order, at the Right Guard, the true body was welcomed into the palace with a dragon cart. In the fourth month of the sixth year of the Zhenyuan era, by imperial order, the monks... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
