English version Taisho Tripitaka Volume 47, No. 1982: Collection of Sutras for Repentance Rituals No. 1982 Collection of Sutras for Repentance Rituals, Volume 1 Composed by the Monk Zhisheng of Xichongfu Temple in the Great Tang Dynasty All reverence, pay homage to the eternally abiding Three Jewels (Buddha, Dharma, Sangha). May all of you kneel respectfully, holding incense and flowers, making offerings according to the Dharma. May this cloud of incense and flowers pervade the ten directions. Offering to all Buddhas, manifested Buddhas, and Bodhisattvas. To the countless Shravakas (listeners), receive this cloud of incense and flowers, transforming it into a radiant platform. Extending boundlessly, in immeasurable Buddha lands, may it be used to perform Buddha deeds. Offering all reverence, holding incense and flowers, practicing the Way according to the Dharma, all universally recite: The Tathagata's wondrous form, unmatched in the world, Incomparable and inconceivable, therefore now we pay homage. The Tathagata's form is inexhaustible, wisdom is also thus, All Dharmas are eternally abiding, therefore I take refuge. Pay homage to the eternally abiding Three Jewels (Buddha, Dharma, Sangha). Praise to the Buddha and Vows Tathagata, worthy of offerings, perfectly enlightened, complete in knowledge and conduct, well-gone, understanding the world, unsurpassed, tamer of men, teacher of gods and humans, Buddha, World Honored One. The Buddha has such immeasurable merits, which cannot be fully praised. With these roots of goodness, already accumulated, to be accumulated, and presently accumulating all roots of goodness. With these roots of goodness, nourish all beings in the Dharma realm, may all be liberated from suffering. Abandoning the heretical and returning to the right. Arousing the Bodhi mind. Forever eliminating the three obstacles. Constantly seeing all Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and virtuous friends. Always hearing the correct Dharma. May blessings and wisdom be complete, and at once become Buddhas. Namo Eastern Sumeru Lamp Light Tathagata (Sumeru Lamp Light Tathagata) and all Buddhas of the ten directions. Universally for the sake of all beings in the Four Kinds of Grace, the Three Realms, and the Dharma Realm, severing the Three Obstacles, taking refuge and repenting. All such worlds, the Buddhas, the World-Honored Ones, constantly abide in the world. May these World-Honored Ones be compassionate towards me, remember me, and know me. 罪。若自作。若教他作。见作随喜。若塔若僧。若取四方僧物。若自取。若教人取。见取随喜。或作五逆无间重罪。若自作。若教他作。见作随喜。十不善道。自作教他见作随喜。所作众罪或有覆藏或不覆藏。应堕地狱饿鬼畜生诸余恶趣边地下贱及弥戾车。于如是等处所作罪障。今皆忏悔。 今诸佛世尊。当证知我当忆念我。我复于诸佛世尊前。作如是言。若我此生。若于余生。曾行布施。或守净戒。乃至施与畜生一揣之食。或修净行所有善根。成就众生所有善根。修行菩提所有善根。求无上智所有善根。一切合集计校筹量。悉皆回向阿耨多罗三藐三菩提。如过去未来现在诸佛所作回向。我亦如是回向。 众罪皆忏悔 诸福尽随喜 及请佛功德 愿成无上智 去来现在佛 于众生最胜 无量功德海 归依合掌礼 一切普诵 南无摩诃般若波罗蜜。是大神咒。是大明咒。是无上咒。是无等等咒。 处世界 如虚空 如莲华 不着水 心清净 超于彼 稽首礼 无上尊 愿以此功德 普及于一切 我等与众生 皆共成佛道 礼佛已恭敬。 自归依佛 当愿众生 体解大道 发无上意 自归依法 当愿众生 深入经藏 智慧如海 自归依僧 当愿众生 统理大众 现代汉语译本 罪业。如果自己做，或者教唆他人做，见到他人做而随喜赞叹。如果是关于佛塔或者僧侣的，如果拿取四方僧侣的财物，无论是自己拿取，还是教唆他人拿取，见到他人拿取而随喜赞叹。或者犯下五逆（指杀父、杀母、杀阿罗汉、破和合僧、出佛身血）无间重罪，无论是自己做，还是教唆他人做，见到他人做而随喜赞叹。十不善道（指身三恶：杀生、偷盗、邪淫；口四恶：妄语、两舌、恶口、绮语；意三恶：贪欲、嗔恚、邪见），自己做，教唆他人做，见到他人做而随喜赞叹。所做的各种罪业，或者有隐瞒，或者没有隐瞒，应堕入地狱、饿鬼、畜生等各种恶趣，以及边地和弥戾车（指没有文化的边远地区）。在这些地方所造作的罪障，现在都忏悔。 现在诸佛世尊，请您们证知我，请您们忆念我。我再次在诸佛世尊面前，这样说：如果我此生，或者在其他生世，曾经行过布施，或者持守清净的戒律，乃至施舍给畜生一口食物，或者修习清净的行为所产生的所有善根，成就众生的所有善根，修行菩提（觉悟）所产生的所有善根，为了求得无上智慧所产生的所有善根，全部合集起来，计算、衡量，完全回向给阿耨多罗三藐三菩提（无上正等正觉）。如同过去、未来、现在诸佛所做的回向，我也这样回向。 所有的罪业都忏悔，所有的福德都随喜赞叹，以及请佛住世的功德，愿我成就无上智慧。过去的、未来的、现在的佛，在众生中最为殊胜，拥有无量功德如大海，我归依、合掌礼敬。 一切共同诵念： 南无摩诃般若波罗蜜（伟大的智慧到彼岸），是伟大的神咒，是伟大的明咒，是无上的咒语，是无与伦比的咒语。 处于世间，如同虚空，如同莲花，不沾染水，内心清净，超越于彼岸，稽首礼敬，无上尊。 愿以此功德，普及于一切，我等与众生，皆共同成就佛道。 礼佛完毕，恭敬地： 自己归依佛，当愿众生，体悟了解大道，发起无上菩提心。 自己归依法，当愿众生，深入经藏，智慧如海。 自己归依僧，当愿众生，统领管理大众。
