It can accomplish eighty thousand auspicious events and eliminate eighty thousand kinds of disasters, inauspicious events, and bad dreams. If one sees or hears of any inauspicious events, reciting it once with a pure heart will prevent harm. If the five planets approach and oppress the constellations, either entering, passing through, or retrograding and invading, then add the name of that planet to the phrase 'Svaha (long a)', recite the mantra seven times, and command those five planets to be benevolent and unable to cause harm. If Mars (荧惑), Venus (太白), etc., reach the divisions of the constellations and the Emperor's seat, in the division of the constellations, as before, draw an evil figure below the image, which will also harm that person, preventing them from having malicious intentions. Or if Rahu (罗睺, the demon in Indian mythology) obscures the sun and moon, causing eclipses, or if a comet appears, or if there is drought or flood, then in a secluded place in the mandala (道场), wear black clothes, sit facing south, draw a triangular altar with burnt ashes, and write the shapes of Rahu (罗睺), comets, etc., in the center. In times of drought or flood, draw a dragon. Write the name of that person on their heart, burn benzoin incense at midnight and noon, recite the mantra, add that name in the phrase, and whip that figure with a pomegranate branch, reciting the mantra twenty-one times, one whip for each recitation, and it will be eliminated.
