At that time, the World Honored One universally announced to the fourfold assembly: If there is a virtuous man who can perform acts of rescue and protection, he should draw the form of Janguli (the goddess who dispels poison), depicting her as a maiden with the hundred auspicious marks, adorning her body. Her clothing should be made of animal skin, and she should wear Kauśeya (silk) garments, with a great divine wheel-like topknot. Her right hand should hold a poison-subduing sword, and her left hand should hold a tube-shaped wooden seal for poison. Her entire body should be adorned with necklaces, with poisonous snakes intertwined as bracelets and armlets. In front of the poisonous snakes, draw a green-clad boy holding a water bowl and an incense table, along with a hundred kinds of poisonous fruits and various poisonous juices, all placed before Janguli. On all four sides, draw mountains, and on both sides of the mountains, draw tigers, wolves, lions, 蚖 snakes, poisonous dragons, vipers, scorpions, and various other venomous snakes surrounding her on all sides. If making an altar, make it one or two cubits in size according to one's wish. Place the image on the altar and recite the mantra for offerings. The altar should be made of cow dung mixed with fragrant mud. Place five plates below the altar, filled with soup made from the heads of birds as offerings, and after the offering, discard them in a clean place. Burn Mandala (a type of incense) as an offering. Recite the mantra seven thousand times for the lowest level of merit, thirty thousand times for the middle level, and seventy thousand times for the highest level. This can save the world and cure poison. Simply chant over water and drink it to cure all poisons. Briefly speaking about the essential Dharma.
