English version: '(The Buddha said,) 'The name of inconceivable meritorious virtues, and the meritorious adornments of the Land of Ultimate Bliss, having heard and contemplated them, if one can for one day and night, or two, or three, or four, or five, or six, or seven, keep their minds focused without distraction. When this good man or good woman is about to die, Amitābha (无量寿佛) Buddha, together with his immeasurable Śrāvaka (声闻) disciples and Bodhisattva (菩萨) assembly, will surround him, come before him, and with compassion bless and protect him, so that his mind will not be disturbed; after he has given up his life, he will follow the Buddha's assembly and be reborn in the pure Buddha land of the Land of Ultimate Bliss of Amitābha Buddha.'
