From beginningless time, in all states of existence in which I have wandered in samsara, all the sinful deeds I have done, caused others to do, or rejoiced in; or stealing the property of stupas, the property of the sangha, or the property of the sangha of the ten directions, causing others to steal, or rejoicing in stealing; or committing the five deeds of immediate retribution, causing others to commit them, or rejoicing in their commission; or entering the path of the ten non-virtuous actions, causing others to enter, or rejoicing in their entry; whatever karmic obscurations have obscured me, causing sentient beings to go to hell, or to the animal realm, or to the realm of the pretas, or to be born in borderlands, or to be born as barbarians, or to be born among the long-lived gods, or to become deficient in faculties, or to hold wrong views, or to not rejoice in the appearance of the Buddhas—all those karmic obscurations, before the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, who have become wisdom, who have become eyes, who have become witnesses, who have become measure, who see with knowledge, I confess, I acknowledge, I do not conceal, I do not hide. Hereafter, I will also cut them off and restrain myself. May all those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, pay attention to me. Whatever roots of virtue I have accumulated in this life, and in other states of existence in which I have wandered in samsara from beginningless time, such as giving even a mouthful of food to a being born in the animal realm; whatever roots of virtue I have from keeping vows; whatever roots of virtue I have from abiding in pure conduct; whatever roots of virtue I have from fully ripening sentient beings; whatever roots of virtue I have from generating the supreme bodhicitta; and whatever roots of virtue I have from unsurpassed wisdom—all of these I gather together, combine, and sum up, and with a dedication that is unsurpassed, higher than the unsurpassed, higher than the higher, and supreme among the supreme, I dedicate everything to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Just as the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, of the past
