Also, form is completely pure. Because form is completely pure, sound is completely pure. Because sound is completely pure, smell is completely pure. Because smell is completely pure, taste is completely pure. Because taste is completely pure, touch is completely pure. Because touch is completely pure, dharma is completely pure. Because dharma is completely pure, eye consciousness is completely pure, up to mind consciousness being completely pure. The four fearlessnesses and the four analytical knowledges, great love and great compassion, great joy and great equanimity, the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha, the fruit of stream-entry and the fruit of once-returner, the fruit of non-returner and Arhatship, self-enlightenment and the knowledge of the path, omniscience, and the unobstructed and unattached wisdom seeing in past times. The Blessed One having spoken thus, those assemblies of Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, and Subhuti, Ananda, and the venerable ones, and their Sangha of monks, and the world with gods, humans, asuras, gandharvas, putanas, and pisacas rejoiced, and praised what the Blessed One had said. If one writes this volume, shloka, chapter, and arrangement of shlokas, which is a non-erroneous compilation of the meaning of the Mother of all Tathagatas, the Great Mother Prajnaparamita in one hundred thousand lines, then one will be writing the Great Mother. If one holds it, one will be holding the Great Mother. In the past, there were two old, destitute people living under the eaves of a house, and a great accomplished one was residing there. That accomplished one saw the two old people living under the house and felt pity for them, as their days were numbered and their lives were short. He said that if they recited the Hundred Thousand Verses of Prajnaparamita one million times and performed one hundred million water offerings, they would live long lives. The two old people heard this message and, feeling miserable, wondered when they would die. At that time, the master of the teachings, the Blessed One Buddha, appeared, and someone offered a bowl. The two old people said they had nothing to offer in the bowl because they were old and about to die. They said that to live long, one needed to recite the Hundred Thousand Verses of Prajnaparamita one million times and perform one hundred million water offerings.
