Furthermore, as it says in the Samadhiraja Sutra: Whether walking, staying, standing, or sleeping, whoever remembers the moon-like sage, the teacher is always present before them, and they will overcome great suffering. And as it says: His body is like the color of gold, the protector of the world is utterly beautiful in every way. Whichever bodhisattva allows their mind to enter into this object of focus is in perfect samadhi. Thus, the yoga of remembering our incomparable teacher, the King of the Shakyas, should be done as follows: Begin by taking refuge in the Buddha, Dharma, and so on, and generating the mind of enlightenment. First, cultivate the four immeasurables. In a state of remembering that all phenomena are apparent but without inherent existence: AH. The unborn emptiness and interdependent arising, the appearance of unceasing union, like an illusion. In the sky before you, in the midst of a vast ocean of offering clouds, upon a precious lion throne, a lotus, sun, and moon seat, is the incomparable teacher, Shakya Simha. His body is golden in color, endowed with the major and minor marks. He wears the three Dharma robes and sits in the vajra posture. His right hand is extended in the earth-touching mudra, and his left hand is in equipoise, holding a nectar-filled begging bowl. He blazes with glory like a golden mountain, and the net of wisdom rays pervades the sky. He is surrounded by a retinue of the eight close sons, the sixteen elders, and so on, a vast ocean of noble beings. By merely remembering him, one is liberated from the two extremes of samsara and nirvana, bestowing the glorious bliss of supreme liberation. Visualize him clearly as the embodiment of all refuges. Thus, focus on the body of the Buddha and generate the thought that he is actually present there. Because the wisdom body of the Buddhas is neither near nor far in any direction or time, he will definitely be present wherever you focus. As it says in the sutra: Whoever thinks of the Buddha, he dwells before them, constantly blessing them, and liberating them from all faults. Moreover, accumulating merit by focusing on the Victorious One is an inexhaustible source of virtue that will not be wasted. As it says in the Avatamsaka Sutra:" } ] ============================================================

By hearing, seeing, and offering to those Victors, the accumulation of limitless merit will increase. All the sufferings of samsara of afflictions will be abandoned. Within this conditioned existence, it will not be exhausted in the bardo. Thus, whatever aspirations are made before them will be accomplished accordingly. As stated in the "Qualities of the Pure Land of Manjushri": "All phenomena are causes, abiding supremely at the peak of intention. Whatever aspiration one makes, one will obtain such a result." Having generated firm conviction in such statements, with great compassion, holding the degenerate realm of strife, I made five hundred great aspirations. Praised like the white lotus, hearing the name, one does not turn back. I prostrate to the compassionate teacher. Self and others, the three doors, virtuous accumulations, enjoyments, etc., visualizing them as clouds of Samantabhadra's offerings, I offer. All the sins and downfalls accumulated since beginningless time, from the depths of my heart, I confess each one with intense regret. The virtues of noble beings and ordinary individuals, accumulated in the three times, I rejoice in. The profound and vast nature of the wheel of Dharma, I pray that it may be turned continuously in the ten directions. You are the wisdom body like the sky, although you abide without change in the three times, yet you show the manner of arising and ceasing in the perception of those to be tamed. May the emanation body always appear. By the virtuous accumulations accumulated by me in the three times, for the sake of benefiting all sentient beings pervading space, may I always please the King of Dharma, and may I attain the state of the King of Dharma. We helpless beings of the degenerate age, through the kindness of your compassion, whatever appearances of the Three Jewels there are in this realm and time, are all your activities. Therefore, to the incomparable, unique protector, with unwavering faith, I pray from the depths of my heart, do not forget your great vows of the past, and until enlightenment, hold us with compassion. Thus, with intense faith, thinking that the Teacher is actually present, focusing single-pointedly on the Teacher's body. I prostrate to the Lama, the Teacher, the Bhagavan, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened Buddha, the glorious Victor, Shakyamuni Buddha! I offer! I take refuge! Thus, reciting as much as possible, and with the mind
