The Collection of Teachings of Sangye Puntsok SP6, which contains some teachings of Bhaṭṭāraka Haṃsyavajra. Contains some teachings of Bhaṭṭāraka Haṃsyavajra. First heard, arose in the heart, compiled into verses. The Collection of Teachings of Bhaṭṭāraka Haṃsyavajra is here. Homage to Vajra Dhvaja First heard, arose in the heart, compiled into verses. Actions conditioned by ignorance, etc. The body gathered by the twelve links of dependent origination, including the results of karma, flesh and blood, and consciousness. All good and bad deeds are accumulated by this, and it is the boundary between going up and going down. The gains and losses of this life are like stars in the daytime, and the suffering of samsara is difficult to describe. If you want to be liberated, rely on the guru, take refuge, and take vows. Follow the guru's instructions and keep your vows. This is the first key point. The difficulty of finding leisure and endowment, the impermanence of life, and the faults of samsara should be well thought over. If renunciation arises, then the Pratimoksha vow arises. With compassion as the motivation, for the benefit of others, put on armor and take the Bodhisattva vow. Possessing an unbroken lineage with valid signs, receiving the four empowerments, and understanding the meaning of the words. Having obtained the mantra vows, one has the power to meditate freely. This is the common characteristic of the Vehicle of Characteristics, the view of selflessness of the person. With many reasons such as teachings and logic, searching for the self, but it cannot be found. This is the view of selflessness of the person. Having understood this, abide in equanimity. By diligently practicing with many reasons, thoughts cease and enter a state of non-thought. One does not know the passing of years, months, days, etc. This is the arising of calm abiding. 1-43 Practicing calm abiding, without dullness, raising mindfulness, then clear appearances arise. This is just the superior seeing of an ordinary person. Practitioners of the Vehicle of Characteristics, after attaining the ground, understand that all phenomena are unborn. All the visions of deities, etc., are just experiences of meditation. Calm abiding combined with raising mindfulness, and observation with discriminating awareness. In order to obtain superior seeing, these two are indispensable. With the preliminary Mahayana mind of enlightenment, the middle practice of pure view, and the final sealing with dedication and aspiration. Act in a state of non-objectification. Just as the smell of food is useless to a hungry person, understanding alone is not enough, one must practice. Put pressure on the body, reduce spending on food and clothing, put karma on the mind, and all appearances are omens of death. One should be like standing on the edge of a cliff, like walking on thin ice, like a dead person, calm. Thus it is said. The teachings of Marpa: The teachings of Marpa: In places such as practice places, and in places where all the favorable conditions of uninhabited places are available, if one can diligently practice, then one has repaid the kindness of the guru, repaid the kindness of parents, and benefited all sentient beings. If one cannot diligently practice... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The master said, 'There is nothing that accumulates more negative karma than living a long life, so give up the thoughts of this life. Do not associate with people who pursue this life, and strive to practice.' After speaking, tears streamed down his face. Here, it is emphasized that the master and disciple should not forget each other. 1-44 Thinking of the biographies of the kind and virtuous predecessors, that itself is the teaching. Greedily desiring to obtain too much is the root of distraction. Engrave the key points in your heart. On the uninhabited rocky cliffs, like a father's castle; in the solitary place without friends, like the abode of the gods; fill your heart with unwavering faith. In the homeland, the master said to the disciple: 'Initially, when the father was alive, there was no son like me; when there is a son like me, the father is no longer there. Even if both are present, it is meaningless. I, the son, will practice the meaningful Dharma.' Instructions on Rituals: Instructions on Rituals: If you accumulate the affairs of samsara, they will eventually be exhausted; if you repair them, they will eventually be destroyed; if you gather them, they will eventually be scattered; if you are born, you will eventually die, and these will inevitably bring suffering. First, abandon this behavior of creating suffering for yourself, do not accumulate, do not repair, do not gather. According to the instructions of a qualified master, practice the truth of non-birth and non-death, which is the best method and ritual. Furthermore, if you perform profound tantric rituals for the sake of this life without being supported by altruistic Bodhicitta, it is like inviting the wisdom deities to come down from their thrones to do the work of sweeping, which is a fault.' The master said, 'If your own mindstream is not integrated with the Dharma, what is the use of holding the tantras? If you have not given up worldly affairs, what is the use of practicing the instructions? If you have not abandoned partiality and hatred, what is the use of making offerings? If you do not regard the master's words as truth, what is the use of having many disciples?' In the flames of the cremation ground, Rechungpa sang: 'In the ocean of samsara in the three realms, the accumulation of the body is the root of sin. Striving and toiling for food and clothing, there is no time to stop worldly affairs. Rechungpa, give up worldly affairs!' Instructions to Darpö Tarbum: Instructions to Darpö Tarbum: Listening, contemplating, and meditating are the external guidance; the integration of awareness and Dharmata is the internal guidance; the inseparability of realization and practice is the ultimate guidance. Instructions to the monks of Yakru Tangpa: 'If you have not tamed your own mind internally, how can you tame the stubborn beings externally?' Rechungma of Tso Ngadeu Chung, after eight years of retreat in Semodo, went to the Pure Land of the Dakinis. If you doubt the gossip of others, you will only confuse yourself. When you practice sincerely, too much walking and staying are obstacles. The Song of Dharma Bodhi: If you have not eliminated conceptual thoughts and habitual tendencies, what is the use of observing the mind?' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
