Collection of Instructions by Salopa SL51: The Peaceful Fire Offering of Glorious Great Black Vajra, Vajra Radiant Light The Peaceful Fire Offering of Glorious Great Black Vajra, Vajra Radiant Light The Peaceful Fire Offering of Glorious Great Black Vajra, Vajra Radiant Light. Śrī nātha nama (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，Homage to the Glorious Protector). Regarding the peaceful fire offering of the Glorious Tent Protector, it has three parts: preparation, main practice, and conclusion. First, the preparation: In a suitable location, on a mandala drawn with peaceful methods, like Vajrapani, using colored paints, place piles of black sesame seeds in the center, equal to the number of deities. Pile bricks on top of the mandala. Place food offerings made of dough to the southeast, wrapped in cloth and butter. Face east, with the fire pit in front. The vajra, bell, inner offering, and ladles are common and consistent. On the right, starting from your side, place the fire offering substances: firewood, butter, mustard seeds, rice, excellent food, barley, wheat, beans, durva grass, and so on. On the left, place two waters and the five preliminary offerings. Arrange three or five tormas, as you wish. Also, prepare the fire starter to ignite the fire. Second, the main practice: Meditate on the self-generation as the Protector, a single hero, as in the sadhana. Bless the inner offering as usual, and sprinkle it with the vajra tip on the stove and all the implements. Purify with amrita (ཨ་མྲྀ་ཏ，अमृत，amṛta，immortality), and empty with svabhava (སྭ་བྷཱ་ཝ，स्वभाव，svabhāva，nature). From emptiness, from the letter A (ཨ་，अ，a，no) arises a white skull cup, vast and wide, within which, from HŪṂ (ཧཱུྃ་，हुं，hūṃ，seed syllable) arise divine offering substances: water for washing, flowers, incense, lamps, scented water, food, music, pure and unobstructed. The fire offering substances are transformed to possess the power to pacify obstacles and hindrances. Recite 'Om argham soha' etc., and 'Om shrim svaha, Om dzrim svaha, Om a svaha, Om kuru kuru svaha.' Recite the dharani and play music. Visualize the fire pit as non-existent, and from emptiness, from PAM (པཾ་，प，paṃ，lotus) arises a lotus, from RAM (རཾ་，रं，raṃ，fire) arises a sun disc, upon which, From HŪṂ (ཧཱུྃ་，हुं，hūṃ，seed syllable) arises a peaceful fire pit, white, round, vast and wide. The edge of the mandala is marked with vajras, and outside is a square platform with half-moon vajras at the four corners. Piled firewood burns with the fire of wisdom, within which, from HŪṂ (ཧཱུྃ་，हुं，hūṃ，seed syllable) arise various vajras, marked with HŪṂ (ཧཱུྃ་，हुं，hūṃ，seed syllable), radiating light. The vajra ground, fence, tent, within the burning fire, surrounded by the eight great charnel grounds, in the center, a lotus, sun, and red-yellow corpse with its head facing right, upon which, from HŪṂ (ཧཱུྃ་，हुं，hūṃ，seed syllable) arises a vajra chopper, transforming into the Protector. On the left, in the belly of Ekajati, arises the consort. Generate the Karma Protector and guides as in the torma ritual.
