Ya ra ga! May the blessings of the indestructible vajra sound of speech be perfected as mantra. May the conceptual aggregates ripen into a bindu where space and awareness are indivisible. Bestow your blessings so that phenomenal existence is established as a great foundation. Bless the body with the emptiness of appearance, bless the speech with the emptiness of sound, bless the mind with the emptiness of awareness. Bestow the four vajra empowerments upon body, speech, and mind. Dissolve the outer, inner, and secret obstacles into space. Bestow the supreme and common siddhis like rain. Bless us to ripen and be liberated through seeing, hearing, remembering, and touching, and to accomplish the immortal three kayas. Om Ah Hum Vajra Guru Padma Thotreng Tsal Vajra Samaya Jah Siddhi Phala Hum Ah! Pray with fervent devotion through this swift path of blessings. If accumulating a hundred thousand recitations of the prayer, do so with the seven-line vajra supplication. At the end of the session: Om Ah Hum Vajra Guru Padma Thotreng Tsal Vajra Samaya Jah Siddhi Phala Hum Ah! Blend your heart and mind and recite the Hum mantra a little. Then, through the cloud of blessings of the lineage supplication, inspire the mind lineage. From the three syllables at the three places of the lama, rays of light radiate gradually and simultaneously. Through their absorption into my three places, may I receive the four empowerments and purify the four obscurations. May I become a vessel for practicing the four paths. Finally, in a state of self-absorption and indivisibility, may I behold the natural face of the dharmakaya beyond the intellect. Taking empowerment, blend your heart and mind and remain in equipoise. When rising from the session, maintain the path of great perfection devotion, knowing that appearance, sound, and awareness are primordially complete within the mandala of the lama's body, speech, and mind. Perform dedication and aspiration prayers, whether elaborate or concise, as appropriate. Even practicing just this guru yoga alone completely encompasses all the practices for the paths of birth, death, and bardo, and therefore one can definitely realize the supreme accomplishment of union. As the vajra words say: Even if you practice only this, you will attain the supreme accomplishment in this life. Therefore, hold it dearer than your heart. Samaya! As instructed, those with fortune should strive with one-pointedness. This also serves as a condition for the complete path of the three roots, the luminous heart essence. May the merit of completely enjoying the ripening and liberation of this profound path lead to the good fortune of luminous vajra intention.
