The mother grants refuge. The fourth holds a vase filled with the nectar of samadhi. Adorned with silk and jewels, seated in the vajra posture. From all parts of the three bodies, immeasurable rays of light radiate in the ten directions. At the tip of each of these, pure lands appear. In the appearance of countless atoms, lamas, yidams, buddhas, bodhisattvas, vidyadharas and sages who have power over life, and dharma protectors and wealth deities, all gather like clouds. All are bodies of illusion in the net of appearance and emptiness. Marked in the three places by three letters, from which light radiates, inviting and dissolving wisdom beings. Becoming the essence of all places of refuge combined. Then, if desired, prostrate with the extensive seven-branch offering and others. Offer mandalas as much as possible. In brief, with the wisdom of individual discernment, with mindfulness, granting the supreme immortality, the deity of life, the fully manifest refuge, the all-encompassing lama, from an unwavering heart, I prostrate with reverence. Leader of the world, the chief, Amitayus, the glory of destroying all untimely death, refuge for those who are helpless and suffering, I prostrate to Buddha Amitayus. Glorious goddess, the color of the autumn moon, three faces and eight arms, supremely beautiful, peaceful form, giver of immeasurable wisdom and the supreme of life, I prostrate to the feet of Namgyalma. The deity I have practiced from previous lives, the mother of all the activities of the buddhas of the three times, supremely white, one face, two arms, seven eyes, the mother holding an utpala flower, I prostrate to you. Furthermore, to the buddhas of the ten directions and their retinues, and the sages and vidyadharas who have power over life, and the dharma protectors and wealth deities with their ocean-like retinues, I prostrate with great joy. I offer clouds of offerings, both actual and mentally created, like an ocean. I confess all sins and downfalls, and rejoice in all virtues. I request you to turn the wheel of dharma and remain for hundreds of kalpas. With this and other virtues, I dedicate to the heart of bodhi. Repeat three times. By the power of prostrating, offering, and praying in this way, may I and limitless sentient beings all, in birth after birth, obtain leisure and endowments, and be blessed to meet pure spiritual friends. May we cross to the other shore of abiding by discipline, listening, contemplating, and meditating. May renunciation and bodhicitta arise from the depths of our hearts. The great act
