秘密集会的杖疗，如意宝珠。 仁增·噶举林巴。 秘密集会的杖疗，如意宝珠。 仁增·噶举林巴。 秘密集会的杖疗，如意宝珠安住。 顶礼吉祥大悲秘密集会。 自我莲花生，于显现为四大种之身中，为息灭冷热聚集之疾病等，瑜伽士身体之障碍故，书写修行杖之次第。 其亦如秘密集会续部中所说：息灭障碍之杖之口诀，于此有表诠、意义、事业三者。 材质为竹节白蒿，如是说故。 如何修持者：蒿或竹节，粗细如蒿鞭，长一肘，将其顶端稍微削去，放入黄金七字，及念诵七百万遍之白芥子，以啦啦恰系紧。 于此有表诠、意义、事业三者，表诠之杖者，如续部中所说：直且圆润滑且柔，未经造作自然成之表诠，即是彼也。 杖之意义，于自身认识者，如续部中所说：以其为自生故正直，以其圆满一切故圆润，轮回涅槃之基彼为滑，无论如何存在彼皆柔。 如是说故，意义与自心性结合也。 第三意义，事业以杖息灭疾病。 如是说故，于此有五者：可击打与不可击打，疾病之量，还压，及算命位也。 初可击打之疾病者：于头部之疾病，从第一节向上量四指处击打。 于前方之发际第一处击打。 又风病头晕目眩刺痛等，于后脑之魔门，顶门，发旋，动脉左右击打。 耳朵聋者，于耳后及风病，于小尖前方极合适处击打。 颈部僵硬及歪斜者，于后脑左右击打。 舌头不适者，于耳垂后一指处击打。 于喉结之上左右击打。 手部一切麻木僵硬者，于上臂头等，于上臂头之连接处击打。 心不悦，颤抖，上身膨胀，刺痛，癫狂等，于第七节，第九，及第七之乳间也。 肺风及痰病，于第四节也。 痰热于第二节，寒风腹部因寒而胀

By myself, Padmasambhava, in the body appearing as the four elements, in order to dispel obstacles to the yogi's body, such as diseases of heat and cold accumulation, I write the sequence of practicing the staff. Moreover, as it says in the Secret Assembly Tantra: The oral instruction of the staff for dispelling obstacles is: Here there are three: symbolism, meaning, and activity. The material is bamboo or white wormwood. As it says, how to practice it is: The thickness of the wormwood or bamboo is about the size of a wormwood whip, one cubit long. Slightly carve the tip of it, insert the seven golden letters, and white mustard seeds chanted with seven hundred thousand recitations, and bind it with la la cha. Here there are three: symbolism, meaning, and activity. The symbolic staff is: As it says in the tantra: Straight, round, smooth, and soft, a symbol that is naturally accomplished without fabrication, that is it. The meaning of the staff, recognizing it in oneself, is: As it says in the tantra: Because it is self-born, it is straight. Because it is complete in everything, it is round. The basis of samsara and nirvana is smooth. However it exists, it is soft. As it says, the meaning is to combine it with one's own mind essence. The third meaning, the activity is to destroy diseases with the staff. As it says, here there are five: suitable and unsuitable for striking, the measure of disease, suppression, and calculating the life position. The first disease suitable for striking is: For diseases of the head, strike four fingers upward from the first joint. Strike the first hairline in front. Also, for wind diseases, dizziness, throbbing pain, etc., strike the demon gate of the back of the head, the crown of the head, the fontanel, and the left and right of the pulsating artery. For deafness, strike the back of the ear and for wind diseases, strike the small tip in front in a very suitable place. For stiffness and crookedness of the neck, strike the left and right of the back of the head. For discomfort of the tongue, strike one finger behind the earlobe. Strike above the Adam's apple, left and right. For all numbness and stiffness of the hands, strike the head of the upper arm, etc., at the junction of the head of the upper arm. For unhappiness of the heart, trembling, swelling of the upper body, stabbing pain, madness, etc., strike the seventh joint, the ninth, and between the breasts of the seventh. For lung wind and phlegm diseases, strike the fourth joint. For phlegm and bile, strike the second joint. For cold wind, the abdomen swells due to cold.

Furthermore, the third area: hiccups, vomiting, diseases of liver odor, hepatomegaly, and phlegm-wind entering the body, strike at the ninth and seventh segments, measuring one 'tsön' (寸, approx. inch) inwards from the left and right sides. For stomach ailments, indigestion, hernias, iron filings disease, and various tumors, strike at the twelfth segment, measuring forward from the tip of the hernia. One 'tsön' below that, it is beneficial for hernias and iron filings disease where food is not absorbed. For bloating, diarrhea, and the spread of intestinal diseases, strike one 'tsön' and two 'tsön' to the left and right of the navel. If cold wind enters the intestines causing bloating, strike four or three 'tsön' below the navel. For cold wind in the kidneys and ascites, strike the fourteenth and eighteenth segments of the back. For thick urine and diseases where it is thin and pasty, strike the eighteenth segment. For urinary retention and seminal emission, strike the nineteenth segment, and five finger-widths to its left and right. Also strike between the anus and urethra. For women's hemorrhage, blood clots, gynecological diseases, and blood tumors, strike the thirteenth segment, and to the left and right and above the pubic hair. For difficulty swallowing, hiccups, hoarseness, acid reflux, and loss of appetite, strike the Adam's apple. For testicular swelling, testicular torsion, groin swelling, and inguinal hernia, strike according to the condition. For chest expansion and upper body congestion, four finger-widths below the armpit and at the scapula. For knee pain, around the patella. For legs that are bent, paralyzed, and stiff, strike at the hip socket (both), i.e., at the appropriate place where the hip and thigh connect. These are the places that can be struck and are beneficial. Moreover, if the swelling is very severe, the disease is very painful, and one is unhappy, divination should be performed and the practice of the lama should be understood. Secondly, for unsuitable diseases: immature fever, spreading fever, disordered fever, epidemics, blood diseases, inflammation, ascites, and young children, etc., striking is not suitable. Unsuitable places to strike are: the philtrum, above the nostrils, cheeks, lips, chin bone, thenar eminence (muscular prominence on the thumb side of the palm), the two arteries, the axillary veins, the inner thigh, the patella, the kidneys, the front of the shin, the elbow, etc., should be avoided. Thirdly, indicating the measurement: the crown of the head is the measurement of the heart, the left and right temples are the measurement of the lungs, four finger-widths in front and behind the crown of the head, and to the left and right sides of these two positions are the measurements of the head. The forehead is the measurement of the liver, the back of the head is the measurement of the kidneys, and four finger-widths above the hairline is the best measurement. If stopping nosebleeds, strike the center of the forehead and two finger-widths to either side of it.
