The Clear Explanation of the Practice of the Liberation-Upon-Seeing Wheel, a White Crystal Spoon, is present herein. Namo Guru Deva Dakiniye. This great Liberation-Upon-Seeing Wheel, which arises from the Lama Gongdu (Guru's Mind Assembly), seems to exist only in a few printed copies in the great Nyingma monasteries of the Kham region. However, nowadays, as the essential teachings seem to be receding like the tide, practitioners who engage in this kind of important practice according to the scriptures are seen to be very rare. For a wheel that is printed and generally distributed, merely scattering the seed syllables that express the essence of the deity will not even align with the intention of the scripture, and the benefits will be similar. If someone were to practice this kind of thing in accordance with the scriptures and methods, it would undoubtedly be a particularly special Bodhisattva activity free from the tethers of self-interest. Therefore, for the benefit of those who possess superior motivation but little manifest pride and are of lesser intelligence, this practice has three aspects: drawing the wheel, consecration, and the method of applying it to activities. First, on the morning of special times such as the eighth, tenth, or fifteenth of the waxing moon, perform a gathering and offering of a brief fire puja. From the depths of your heart, pray to the Guru, Yidam, and Dakinis, requesting the activity of generating limitless benefit for others. The person drawing it, having received empowerment and possessing samaya, should face east and draw it without adding or omitting anything. Even if it is printed, the method of printing should be done in this way; if one is satisfied with whatever happens to be available, it will be a disrespect to the profound secret of self-arising and will result in the transgression of the command. The drawing material is red cinnabar, mixed with good-smelling substances such as camphor, saffron, sandalwood, and blessed medicinal substances without exception. Once all the colors are complete, place it in a precious vessel filled with grains. If there are many copies, stack them and place them with respect. The mantra on the outer circle of this wheel appears to be based on Sanskrit roots for remembering the Three Jewels, but there seem to be many common errors. Without being too presumptuous, if one could slightly correct the definite errors, it would seem to be of service. Second, the consecration.
