This great protector, who appears as a guardian of the Victorious One's teachings, is close to the heart, swift in power, great in strength, auspicious, and with little opposition. Although there are some new sadhanas for this deity and many Nyingma treasures, this deity is like the treasure that arose from the Blood-Drinking Powerful Demon-Subduing Vajra. In particular, this deity is the chief deity of our lineage. Thus, it was taken from the treasure text, easily extracted by the great Vidyadhara Tsewang Norbu, and combined with torma offerings and kha hi. Excellent! Excellent! Excellent!
