From the transformation of the seed of non-dual wisdom, immeasurable rays of light in the form of wisdom hand symbols radiate forth, entering the hearts of the disciples. The non-dual wisdom hand symbols of all the Thus-gone Ones of the ten directions, such as the iron hook, vajra, and enemy host, utterly pulverize into dust all the enemies, obstructing demons, and malevolent forces of physical ailments and the three realms of existence. Contemplate them dissolving into the hand symbols of the disciples gathered here. Thus, accompanied by the sound of musical instruments, recite the root mantra, burn gugul incense, and bestow the hand symbols. Thereafter, to expand the activities, perform the empowerment of the samaya substance tsok: Hūṃ! By this offering of the feast of food and enjoyment, having empowered the fortunate son of the lineage, may all desired activities be accomplished through possessing the six enjoyments and riches. Oṃ āḥ hūṃ! puṣṭiṃ kuru abhiṣiñca hūṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning: increase, do, empower, hūṃ). The empowerment of the torma: Hūṃ! This torma of five meats and red nectar, the body of the wisdom deity Vajra Garuda, having empowered the fortunate son of the lineage, may all fierce activities be accomplished, severing the root of all arrogance. Oṃ āḥ hūṃ vajra drag mo gyal abhiṣiñca hūṃ! Thereafter, the empowerment of the means of accomplishment: Hūṃ! The retinue of Vajra Garuda and the assembly of dakinis, the samaya substances for summoning, the skull drum, thighbone trumpet, and conch shell, the samaya substances for offering, the three of medicine, rakta, and torma, the samaya substances for support, the arrow, banner, and conch shell, by these samaya substances of summoning, offering, support, and secrecy, having empowered the fortunate son of the lineage, may they always accompany you like a shadow, never separating. Oṃ āḥ hūṃ ḍākinī abhiṣiñca hūṃ! The empowerment of the life syllable: Hūṃ! This empowerment of the syllable bhyaḥ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning: bhyaḥ), in the past, in the first kalpa, the master Padmasambhava, having bound the mamos to the oath, offered the life essence, in the middle, the mantra holder, I, took it, now I entrust it to you, may the goddess Garuda obtain power over life. Increase power and wealth! Accomplish glory and fame! Protect the retinue and the teachings! Repel obstacles and hindrances! May the activity of utterly destroying all enemies, demons, and harm-doers be accomplished! Thus, blessings are bestowed. Then, the empowerment of the life-stone: The master enters the pride of great power, and the protectors and retinue are invoked and made to abide on the life-stone of the glorious Torma Foot. Sprinkle and arrange offerings of meat and alcohol on them, and at the end of the root mantra, add A YA MA DU RU TSA SHA NA LA A KARO (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Chinese literal meaning), and offer it. Dissolve the samaya substance into the life-stone and entrust it to the disciple. The master himself, with the pride of great power, takes it and places it at his own feet. HUM! This is the life-stone of the Mamo of phenomenal existence. In the first aeon of the past, Guru Padmasambhava placed the Mamo in the life-stone of oath. In between, the mantra-holder, myself, took it. Now, by entrusting it to you, may you obtain the life-force of the Mamo of phenomenal existence! OM AH HUM SARVA BUDDHA CITTA ABHISHINCA HUM (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Chinese literal meaning: OM AH HUM, all Buddha-mind, empower HUM!). Thus, by obtaining the empowerment, one will be able to gather all the arrogant Mamos, subdue them with power, summon them, expel them, Separate, kill, suppress, and utterly destroy them! May you obtain these powers! Then, wrap the life-stone in a rag from a bad skull or a burial ground, bind it with five-colored threads in a cross, and place it at the foot of the previous torma. Then, offer gifts and prostrations to the master, scatter flowers, and afterwards, the yogis should enjoy the tsok and partake of it to their heart's content. Dedicate the torma, praise and urge, pray and confess, and speak auspicious words. Then, the life-stone should be pressed under a stupa or the foundation of a temple. Padmasambhava, I, extracted the lifeblood of the treasure guardian himself. This empowerment is very important, and if it is given to an ordinary person, obstacles will arise, so it is very dangerous. Do not transmit it to anyone who is not a qualified, single-lineage holder! May the treasure guardian, the Vajra Garuda Mother of activity, keep watch! Samaya! Gya Gya Gya! Treasure seal! Hidden seal! Profound seal! Entrusted seal! So phag shi tham! Smrag tham! Fierce seal! Seal of the Dharma protectors! Command seal! Protection seal! Kha tham Kha tham Kha tham! Seal of previous aspirations! Well-accomplished by numerous aspirations accumulated in the past, especially the mantra-protecting Vajra Garuda Mother, dispelling all obstacles of the supreme deity.
