As we are in an era where we have moved into the great web of intellectual illusion and can enjoy the wonderful interdependent electric stage as we please, there is an urgent need for a new reading method that combines the ancient and the modern. Therefore, I have opened the Tarthang Online Library. Based on the Kangyur, the precious words of the Buddhas, and the Tengyur, the treatises of Indian scholars and masters that explain the meaning of the Buddha's words, the collected works of the scholars and masters of the eight major practice lineages of Tibet, or the Sakya, Gelug, Kadam, and Nyingma schools, are gradually being entered into the online library along with authentic Tibetan source texts, printed editions, and computer fonts. This time, all the volumes of the Rinchen Terdzö Chenmo (Great Treasury of Precious Termas), which belongs to the profound terma (treasure) section of the three great collections of Dharma—Kama (oral transmission), Terma (treasure), and Dagnang (pure vision)—for the ancient Nyingma school, have been included in the Tarthang Online Library. Among the many original copies of the Rinchen Terdzö Chenmo, here we present the Rinchen Terdzö Chenmo that was later housed in the Derge Printing House, and a version with the unprecedented feature of being able to view computer fonts simultaneously, which is presented to a wide audience. In this large-scale project, the businessman Pema Donyod and the foreigners Gerry Wiener and Jeff Furlong provided tireless efforts. In addition, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all those who have directly and indirectly supported this project, and especially to Lama Tshewang Rinpoche, the director of the Zla-snang Library, for providing the original Derge edition of the Rinchen Terdzö Chenmo in PDF format after scanning and eliminating errors, which enabled the entire Rinchen Terdzö Chenmo project to be completed successfully. May this newly created and beautiful offering, this youthful incense offering, be utterly intoxicating. May the blessings of the vast assembly of the Three Roots residing in the expanse of reality, and especially the nectar rain of blessings from the early translation lineage holders, the ocean-like victorious ones, pour down from all directions. May the soil of the hearts of limitless beings be moistened, and may the sprouts of love and wisdom, arising from the good seeds of renunciation and the correct view, meditation, and conduct of bodhicitta, fully ripen. May they be heavy with the burden of the fruits of the complete and vast accumulation of the two merits, and may the fragrance of benefit and happiness completely nourish all beings with supreme benefit and happiness, both temporarily and ultimately.
