The Nectar Essence, a connecting recitation for the Torma Empowerment of the Great Compassionate One, the Embodiment of All Sugatas. Orgyen. The Nectar Essence, a connecting recitation for the Torma Empowerment of the Great Compassionate One, the Embodiment of All Sugatas. Orgyen. This is the ritual called "The Nectar Essence, a connecting recitation for the Torma Empowerment of the Great Compassionate One, the Embodiment of All Sugatas." Namo Padmalokeshvaraya (藏文,梵文天城体,padmalokeśvarāya,莲花观自在). Homage to the Lord of Dance, the Treasure of Compassion! Having bowed with respect to the deities of the mandala, I will set forth the Nectar Essence, the practice of the empowerment of the blessed torma. Here, there are three parts to the method of bestowing the essential torma empowerment of the profound path, the Great Compassionate One, the Embodiment of All Sugatas: preparation, main part, and conclusion. First: For those who are not ordinary, who have sharp faculties, who have awakened the residue of karma from previous training, and who are pursuing the profound instructions as meaningful, this empowerment of the essential meaning ripens them, and also empowers them to practice the profound instructions for their own benefit. Whether it is related to the extensive root mandala or whether this is done separately, it is the same. Arrange a square platform one cubit in size with a covering, and arrange a collection of red flowers. In the center of that, on a low table, in a skull cup or a precious vessel, place a torma soaked with nectar, medicine, and spices, in the shape of a four-tiered Mount Meru, with four lotus petals facing outwards and standing upright on the four sides, and one thumb-sized ball at each corner, encircling the base. This is the glorious red torma, adorned. Place a cloth and a red silk tent over it. Also, arrange extensive offerings and a feast circle. If it is related to the root empowerment, there is no difference in the meaning of the meditation, only in the extent of the meditation, so there is no need for separate accomplishment and offering. If this single torma empowerment is bestowed separately, then follow the text of the action ritual and generate the torma as a deity. Complete the offerings, praises, recitations, etc., and offer the feast offering. Then, for the students, perform the bath as described in "How to be Born," etc. Banish obstacles. Meditate on the protection circle. Scatter and gather flowers. Generate the mind. After clarifying the generation, first give a Dharma talk as appropriate. Also, in the root text of the empowerment, it says: "For the fortunate, the essence of the swift path to ripening, I will show the empowerment of the blessed torma."

As I said, in order to bestow this empowerment of the essence of meaning, which is the essence of blessings, to those fortunate individuals who, with supreme wisdom, wholeheartedly devote themselves to the profound meaning, possess extraordinary sharp intelligence, and are able to practice the profound oral instructions of the generation and completion stages, and have mastery over practice. First, the actions that the master should do are completed. Then, instruct the disciples to offer the mandala, such as saying, "The disciple's action is to offer the mandala," and have them offer the mandala. After that, in order to pray, please visualize as follows: In this pure and vast mandala of wisdom, the Vajra Master is the embodiment of all Buddhas, the compassionate great being with complete freedom. With unwavering faith and intense devotion, please repeat after me as you pray. Vajra Master, please heed! The secret path of all Buddhas, in the mandala of the assembly of all Buddhas, please ripen my mindstream! Pray like this three times. Then, visualize in the space in front of you that the Guru and the noble Avalokiteśvara are inseparable, surrounded by the assembly of the Three Roots, the ocean of victorious ones, as if you were seeing them directly. All sentient beings, self and others, until reaching the essence of enlightenment, take refuge. Thinking, "I will take refuge," please repeat after me. Namo! All beings, including myself, until enlightenment. (Tibetan: ན་མོ།), take refuge like this three times. After that, with compassion for all sentient beings as vast as space, who constantly experience the suffering of the six realms due to non-virtuous actions, think, "I will rely on this path to liberate them from samsara and lead them to ultimate bliss." Please repeat after me. The difficult-to-cross ocean of samsara. (Tibetan: བརྒལ་དཀའ་སྲིད་པའི་རྒྱ་མཚོ་ལས།), generate bodhicitta like this three times. After that, the basis of blessings is practice, the descent of wisdom. Therefore, please have the disciples straighten their bodies, restrain their speech, and focus their minds. Visualize that light radiates from the heart of the master and touches the disciples, purifying them into emptiness. From this emptiness, like a fish leaping out of water, arise the peaceful or wrathful form of the embodiment of all Buddhas, the compassionate great being with complete freedom. In its heart, the red letter (Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanization: hrīḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: 舍) burns like a flame, shining with bright light. Driven by this, from the hearts of the deities of the mandala
