Oṃ Svasti! When connecting Dorling Great Compassionate Avalokiteśvara Gyalwa Gyatso's Longevity Empowerment, along with the arrangement of the root empowerment, arrange the longevity sprig, longevity pills, longevity wine, and arrow banners. The vase of the root mandala has been accomplished, and the deities of the vase instantly transform their places. Visualize that everyone holds the longevity vase in their right hand and the arrow banner in their left hand, and that the light from the seed syllable in their hearts gathers the life essence of saṃsāra and nirvāṇa and pours it into the vase. Recite: Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ! Oṃ Maṇi Padme Hūṃ Hrīḥ! Oṃ Vajra Ratna Padma Karma Buddha Āḥ Yuṣe Hūṃ Bhrūṃ! Longevity Bhrūṃ, Turquoise Bhrūṃ, Turquoise Longevity Bhrūṃ! Āyurjñāna Turquoise Longevity Bhrūṃ! Bestow wisdom as before. Visualize yourself as Great Compassionate Avalokiteśvara, and the light from the hearts of myself and the Great Compassionate Avalokiteśvara in front of me motivates all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions, the Three Roots, and the protectors. The deities of the Great Compassionate Avalokiteśvara mandala, in the form of holding arrow banners and longevity vases, merge into you like a dense rain cloud. Generate the faith that your mindstream is blessed. Say these words, accompanied by incense and music, at the end of the above longevity practice. Recite: Jñāna Āveśaya Āḥ Āḥ! After reciting many times, place the vajra crossed scepter on the crown of your head and say: Tiṣṭha Vajra! By this, make it stable. From the hearts of the deities in front of me and myself, rays of light like iron hooks and emanated messengers like dust of sunlight radiate.
