All the actual rituals are explained in the "Supplication Letter: Excellent Vase of Blessings," so refer to that. However, since the stages of visualization are not clearly stated there, they are supplemented here. Among the activities of pacifying, increasing, magnetizing, and subjugating, here are the first three. First, the visualization of protection is: starting from "Below my heart," visualize oneself clearly as a wrathful deity. In the abdomen, on the sun and moon lotus skull garland of the golden Bodhi Stupa, like inside a vase, in the center of the sky-iron nine-pointed vajra, there is a blue Hum (ཧཱུྃ,hūṃ,hum,吽), with the Lama in the halo at the top. In the upper part of the Ha syllable, there are the preceptor and other great ones, all visualized as one's own wrathful deity. During protection, in the Ha syllable, visualize one's own form. To its left, right, front, and back, visualize male and female servants, patrons, friends, siblings, attendants, wealth, and other things to be protected. In the curve of the A and the foot, visualize horses, cattle, and other livestock. Outside the Hum (ཧཱུྃ,hūṃ,hum,吽), there is a red light screen, and outside that, there is a white light screen. The two are closely connected, the outer light screen can block co-emergent demons, and the inner light screen prevents demons from approaching. From the Hum (ཧཱུྃ,hūṃ,hum,吽), light radiates, offering to the Buddhas, and the compassion and blessings of the Buddhas transform into light that is drawn back, merging into oneself and the objects to be protected. The body transforms into a vajra armor, with vajras interwoven into a net, and the gaps are covered by iron scorpions and garudas, filling it without any gaps. After visualizing in this way, recite the root mantra with the protection mantra attached. Secondly, the visualization of subjugation is: oneself as a wrathful deity, along with the mandala palace, instantaneously transforms into an iron scorpion, with nine heads, nine mouths, nine eyes, and eighteen horns, extremely terrifying, filling the three thousand worlds. Visualize oneself as one, and recite "Vajra Ra Tsa'i Tsitta" (བཛྲ་རཱ་ཙའི་ཙིཏྟ་) twenty-one times. From the heart mantra of the scorpion, the red and black Ja (ཛཿ,jaḥ,jah,匝) syllable, emanate countless Ja syllables, which transform into scorpions. Countless scorpions identical to oneself fill the entire world, and all harm-doers and demons, like flies on meat, are devoured from the inside and outside, leaving not a trace. This is transforming the wrathful deity into a scorpion, so there is no need to recite the mantra of the wrathful deity. Recite "Vajra Yaksha Trigna" (བཛྲ་ཡཀྵ་ཏྲིག་ནན,vajra yakṣa trig nan) one hundred and eight times, and then command the scorpion.

Then, like fogging a mirror, let the clarity fade and remain for a moment. Again, like a bubble bursting, the sight of the palace with all its supports gradually becomes clear, and then recite mantras, etc. This visualization of grasping sins as the core is very rough, and the heat of demons is great, and it should not be done in ordinary situations unless there are special circumstances. Third, the visualization of repulsion is: visualize yourself as the fierce and powerful form, from which emanate small wrathful deities. From the vajra in the right hand emanates a garuda, and from the tip of the phurba in the left hand emanates countless iron scorpions, etc. The retinue also faces outwards. From the body emanate emanations identical to oneself, and from the outer protective circle also emanate many identical emanations, killing, cutting, and devouring all enemies, obstacles, curses, and harmful beings. Visualize them as being reduced to nothing. After reciting twenty-one repulsion mantras, etc., clap your hands three times by speaking the truth. After reciting twenty-one wrathful Loktri mantras, etc., clap your hands each time you recite the phrase "not acting according to orders." In the case of Simhamukha, there is no need for a visualization of approaching like between the sun and the moon. Afterwards, until remembrance, and then abiding for a moment without any object of focus, this is the essence of all three: protection, repulsion, and killing. Again, visualize the retinue facing inwards, and then recite the retinue mantras, etc. Recite vowels, consonants, and the Hundred Syllable Mantra to complete it. Thus, according to how the great vidyadhara spoke of the visualization sequence of approach, practice, and activity. Composed into verses by the རྒྱལ་ཐེབས་ of the activity of the holy one so-and-so and the writer Ra'i Tönpa, and finally, following the footsteps of the great vidyadhara, elaborated in prose, and written by Tsering Mönkyi when presented before the Gyalwa father and son of Tsurphu (established in 1189, located in present-day Doilungdêqên County, Lhasa, Tibet). Alas, the image of a mantra practitioner born in the degenerate age! Rising upwards by the name of lineage and ancestry, falling downwards due to the lack of actual accumulation and support. Sometimes in front of great figures, great scholars, and lamas, praised as the best of those who hold the vidya mantras. Triumphantly reclining on the cushion throne in the private chamber, despised when seen by inferior commoners. Wandering like a dog among the disheveled monks, even without the habit of learning and the eye of wisdom, holding the secret treasury of the heart of the venerable lama, not skilled in pleasing melodies and compound words.
